Bowl Game Line Predictions

I just went thru the bowls and put my own lines on them, I really have no idea what I am doing, but just wanted to see how close I was or how far off I could be, feel free to post your own if you like:

Boise -11 ECU
Purdue -2 CMU

BC -6 Mich St
TCU -5 Houston
Maryland -4 OSU
UConn -2 Wake
UCF -3 Miss St
Penn State -5 TAMU
Alabama -4 Colorado
Cal -7 Air Force
GT -4 Fresno St
USF Oregon - no idea if dixon will play or not
FSU -3 Kentucky
OSU -6 Indiana
Auburn -5 Clemson
Tenn -2 Wisky
Missouri -6 Arkansas
Virginia -6 TT
Florida -7 Michigan
USC -10 Illinois
Georgia -10 Hawaii
Oklahoma -7 WV
VT -6 Kansas
Rutgers -11 Ball state
Tulsa -5 BG
LSU -5 Ohio State

Those were the lines I came up with, I went and looked to see how I did and only the BCS games are up now and I was pretty close, GA is -11, LSU is -6, USC is -13 so I was off a little there, Oklahoma is 6.5 and VT is only 3.5 so not too shabby

Off the cuff, if those lines are correct, Ilike the following dogs:

Indiana.....there will be a lot of points, so I'll take the near-TD head start.

Navy......they run the football so well, i'd relish getting 8.

Arkansas....nothing against Missou, but I'll take McFadden, Jones and company......Mizz will have trouble stopping them.....I'll take the 6.

Fresno....because I like them always as dogs vs big conference schools....GT no great shakes....Gailey, a lame duck....will Tenuta even be there still.....Utah trounced them in 2005, why not the Bulldogs.

Ttech......really, getting 6 vs UVA....I know UVA has been winning squeakers all year, but I would expect them to lose this game.....so laying nearly a TD, almost looks too good to be true.....maybe you missed badly on this one? Then again, Leach to, say, UCLA rumors may be so strong that TT implodes and Chris Long just buries their QB 3-4 times.

Oregon St......I would expect them to beat Maryland outright.....i just dont think the Terps are all that good.....OSU been a pretty solid bowl team, especially if Bernhard is back, but I do not know his status, so we'll check that later.....generally, Pac 10 bowl underdogs are a solid play.

Ohio State.....have you seen LSU's ATS record this year.....been going against them all year and winning......BCS title game dog is 7-2 SUATS.

As far as other games, Purdue beat CMU by well over 20 points back in September.....it will be hard to lay off of them at -2.

These are just initial thoughts..... thanks for posting your prospective lines, great food for thought here over lunch!

i think you have the wrong team favored in ken/fsu, i think kentuck will be a 3-4 pt fav...i also think ASU will be favored over texass...i think auburn will be close to a pick, TT may be favored over UVA as well

USF Oregon - no idea if dixon will play or not


Pretty sure Dixon had a complete ACL tear, if so he wont be playing for sure. ACL tears will sideline you for months.
