I have heard that Boise St. has been talked to about going to the Seattle Bowl, it is on ESPN.com.

Miami against Washington State could be interesting(if OSU loses). They both have amazing pass attacks and innovated offenses. I too think that Miami would unload on them in the second half with superior running thus opening up the deep ball for the cougs demise, but a half could be fun. I know Miami is the best team in the country this year and saying they are not only pisses them off. Ask the Vols who recieved a beating for the pollsters mistakes in judgment.

On the other hand I hope the Canes get the Buckeyes ( I am a buckeye fan). The Canes feel disrespected as they should with the "BS" BCS. Ohio State would be a true statement game for them. Ohio State should hope to lose to Michigan cause if they make it to Tempe, the desert will see its first Hurricane. Miami I think would tattoo OSU but who knows until the game is played, one lucky bonce is all it takes.

The Sooners are still IMO the best matchup for the Canes for a great game to watch for the true football fan. Both of these teams know how deliver big game excitement

I got tickets to the Sugar Bowl for the next 3 years, I hope this years matchup is a good one. ESPN projected FSU v. Georgia, I think I would rather have ND.

USC in the Holiday Bowl not the Sun Bowl. Although they still could get a BCS bid, not likely however.

Holiday takes takes Pac-10 #2 (only WSU, UCLA, SC can fit that bill).

ND in the Orange vs OU and UGA/FSU in the Sugar is more likely also, assuming all goes as planned.

Probably be some upsets in the next 3 weeks that throw this whole thing upside down.

Not to bust your chops or burst your bubble, but how in the hell is Colorado going to end up at the Alamo bowl?

No matter what happens vs. Nebraska, the Buffs are playing for the Big 12 Championship.

Alamo Bowl
Dec. 28, 2002, 7pm - San Antonio, TX.
Big Ten No. 4 vs. Big 12 No. 4

How do they end up #4 in the Big 12???

One more thing...Texas in the Cotton Bowl??? Uh, no.

Cotton Bowl
Jan. 1, 2003, 11am - Dallas, TX.
Big 12 No. 2 vs. SEC

I know there is some leeway in who goes to the bowls and Texas has a shot being in-state, but more likely candidates are Colorado, Oklahoma, or Texas Tech.

Isn't North Texas in a Bowl also???

Too bad Iowa will be (barring a Ohio St loss) going to the Rose Bowl, would be nice to see them matched up against Oklahoma.

You got it. North Texas should be going to the New Orleans bowl as the Sun Belt Champs.

Got killed there last year by Colorado State.

We Longhorns should play North Texas.......Heck, then we could actually win a game and they are more like our usual opponent......play Div III teams, cream em, but when it comes time to play a REAL college team we crap our pants......gotta love it:rolleyes:
