Been getting Mushed by Lang lately. At least today I waited to see his picks before placing my own wagers.
Idaho ML (+100) for 10* & Idaho 1st half Pick'em for 4*
Idaho is a solid rushing team, will have a sizable home field advantage and should dominate the offensive line of scrimmage. Bowling Green can't run the ball and can't stop the run. I know Barnes is the best player on the field, but with the weather conditions not being ideal for passing, I think the Vandals find a way to win a fairly high scoring game since Idaho's defense was AWFUL the 2nd half of the season.
Idaho 38 Bowling Green 31
Nebraska -2.5 for 10* & 1st half -1.5 for 4*
Huskers don't have much offensively, but not sure Zona has much firepower either. Nebraska was a half-second away from playing in a BCS game which is my only major concern with Nebraska having a letdown. However, Bo Pelini is a firecracker and will have his boys ready. My other reason for backing the Huskers is Grigsby is less than 100%. Add in the fact that I expect Nebraska's defensive line to dominate and I'll back the Huskers at less than a FG. Suh will make sure to end his career with a win and unless the Huskers offense has numerous turnovers, I expect NU to win and likely by double digits.
