Won't play many but will play non the less

Plays:

Florida Gators -10 This will be comical :142smilie

BYU -6 Anyone remember the Utah/UCLA game

Leans:

Auburn +2.5

Tennessee -3.5

USC -13

My 2 plays are based on coaching changes and
program consistancy. UCLA and Michigan are in
DEEP CHIT. Florida and BYU on the other hand
are solid, consistant teams game in and game out
that show up ready to play.

My Auburn lean is based on the fact that their
defense will overcome the Clemson offense. In
a big way.

My Tennessee lean is based on the fact that
speed beats cement laiden feet.

My USC lean is based on talent.

More to come. :00hour

I am not sure why the Aub D played so poorly vs. UGA, but I still feel they are the best D in the SEC. I like Aub big in this one, but I bought the hook to +3 for good measure.

Thanks Al and Cie. Al I don't have an opinion on
either of those games, I'm just not up on those
teams. I pretty much have to stick to Pac 10,
Big 12, and SEC. Cie good idea to buy the half
point, but I'm leaning towards the ML. I think
they win SU, and I'm pretty confident about that.
Give'm hell this Bowl Season :toast:

May not make any more plays, may just stick with

college football season and the ups and downs of
sweating out the spreads :toast:

Gators -10 x2

Auburn ML +110
Fresno +4.5
Texas/AZ. ST OVER 62
Oregon St. -4
Tennessee -3

Cie, KICK THE MAN'S ASS THIS BOWL SEASON

:toast:

You've got to think Cutcliffe will be long gone on
the recruiting trail for Duke. But it doesn't matter
to me, and as much as I think Phat Phil is a crap
coach, the team speed and talent and momentum
of the Tennessee squad will overcome the Wisky
squad. Wisky had some games against weak teams
that were putrid. They just don't match up well
against the Vols, IMHO.

I could kick myself in the ass for not jumping on
Kentucky -1.

Adding two more plays:

Mizzou -3 X2
S. Florida -6.5

You could hand Arky their ass and they still would
not know where it is. Playing bowl games is more
about knowing the mindsets of these teams than
it is who is better. Not only do I think Mizzou is a
better squad, but their heads are in this game
much more than the Hogs.

I think S. Fla. will AMBUSH the Dixonless Ducks.

I think very little of Wisky and have mentioned it all season. It looks to me like their defenders play wearing ankle weights:142smilie

Damn you Cie, I want you to personally go down
to the Cat's Meow this weekend and go upstairs
to the bartender and give her my best :mj07:

I can't remember which year I was there, maybe
back in the '90's, but that bartender was a 10.5

I don't think Mizzou will be motivated after getting snubbed by the BCS. You can say they will want to prove that they deserved to be in the BCS but I don't think that will be the case.

I don't disagree but Wisconsin is 8-3 over their last 11 bowl games and most of those were against teams that were much more athletic, including a 24-10 win agaisnt #7 Auburn last year and a cover agaisnt #7 Georgia 24-21 the previous year. I don't think they are very good, but their history suggests that they gameplan well in bowl games.

I have Wisky at 9-3 last 12 bowls. 8-3 under Alvarez, who I thought very highly of as a HC, and 1-0 under Bielema. Not to take away from Bielema's 1st bowl appearance, but the win came against an Arky team ready who missed out on the BCS despite a top 5 ranking late in the season. Arky players were dissapointed about their fall from the BCS picture. Mitch Mustain and his crazy family were stirring up tons of problems, meaning the psyche of Arky was poor at best during the prep for the bowl and still they managed to outgain Wisky 368-201.....

My records show that they played Auburn last year, not Arkansas and gained 548 yards. Did I miss something?

Seems like you missed the 2007 Capitol One Bowl. Wisky 17-14 over Arky. Arky was a 2.5 fav, with the total at 46.
