The only way I can see Boise winning is if Petrino steps down before the bowl game. This team is absolutely loaded but I will admit they are not the brighest team.

I think Boise has a shot. Most everyone will be in the line of thinking that Louisville will roll them, which is very possible, but Boise is pretty damn good.

A couple of points:

1. Petrino will be gone somewhere

2. BUT -GMan - Boise has not impressed on the road and if i am not mistaken havent even played a good team on green turf. Worse, it will in essence be a Louisville home game.

While I wouldnt bet the Ville, I have a hard time also seeing some reason to think that the Boise who couldnt stop and barely beat San Jose State will go on a long raod trip and win outright agaisnt a good team.

Best team Boise has beat in the past five years is TCU in last years bowl other than beating under achievinf Fresno State teams they really have not stepped up in class and beat a team as solid as Louisville. If SUn Tzu is correct and Petrino is gone then I would almost guarentee that the Cards will not put forth the effort in this bowl but if Petrino is still there then the Cards have the ability to really destroy Boise especially within the trenches.

Boise State may very well cover the number against Louisville.....

I like USC to cover over Oklahoma....because as good as Oklahoma is...they may not be able to stop those Quick Short Slants USC uses with their big wide receivers. USC's wide receivers have deceptive speed. USC has a very decent QB and Running back....

I just think USC " Out-Quicks" The Sooners. Oklahoma is going to get fooled by USC's size and speed.....

If Oklahoma is leading this game when halftime comes then a USC 2nd half wager becomes a" HOY" --half of the year wager !

Good Luck to Oklahoma backers and Good Luck to Auburn backers in the Sugar Bowl.

I hope Auburn can get a share of The National Title with either Oklahoma or USC...

All 3 of these teams deserve # 1 status.. And i bet if they were to play each other a couple of games, i don't think much will separate the three teams at the end.

MC, like Tenn +3..expect both QB's will be healty by game time and also expect Tenn to be favored by Jan. 1.

Like VPI +7...the Hokies are playing like they did in 1995. Lose two early then won ten straight including a 28-10 win over Texas in the Sugar Bowl. They flew under the radar that year and I think they're doing the same thing this year. The defense only gave up 24 pointsin any one game this year USC and UNC. Auburn did deserve a shot at the Nat. Champ. game and gambleing on them being a little down. Taking Tech +7 and under 45.

Gonna wait on some of the bowls to see who actually coaches.
