The Rebs have reportedly interviewed current Miami (Fla.) D-Coordinator Randy Shannon on Wednesday; Neither party would confirm the interview, but a booster indicated that his jet was used by the university for a trip to Florida; Ole Miss expects to have a coach in place by tomorrow

University president Andrew Sorensen is investigating an incident involving the theft of $18,000 worth of video equipment and framed photos from Williams-Brice Stadium by certain members of the football team; Certain players were apparently angered by the fact that USC turned down its bowl berth; All the items were returned and no criminal charges will be pressed; Internal discipline, however, is expected to be handed down to the guilty parties
