USC is definitely playing Penn St. in the rose bowl. Free money again this year. They will be 7 point favorites and roll another big 10 opponent by 3 touchdowns and everyone says they should be number 1, when in reality they couldn't beat oklahoma or probably florida, because as great as their defense may be, they would struggle to keep up.

Navy is only team that has formally accepted a bowl bid, but here are some projections:

The Orange Bowl must be thrilled along with Fox. What a riveting matchup for prime time new years day.....Cincinatti vs. Boston College...

Someone please explain to me how a BCS game gets a matchup of #13 ranked and #17 ranked.....

You can bid on tickets for $1 on EBAY.....

I think the Orange is wanting a VT-Cinc game since they know the Hokies travel well. Nonetheless, I am sure it will be one of the least watched bowl games in quite along time. Outside of fans of Cinci and VT/BC only us degenerates will be watching to follow our bets.

Most likely looking at Fla-UO, Bama-Utah, Texas-Ohio State, Cincy-BC, USC-Penn State. Some scuttle from Fiesta about taking Utah and Sugar offering some sort of a deal bc they dont think Utah will travel to NO.

Cotton will almost surely be Texas Tech-Ole Miss. Holiday is probably Okie State-Oregon.

Play against LSU in their bowl for free $$$. Miles has been fortunate in his bowl matchups. He destroyed an unravelling Miami, then he beat outmanned ND and Ohio St in back to back BCS bowls. This season, LSUs got nothing to play for, and the team has no fight. Unless LSU gets ND again, Miles will lose this bowl.

And I would add that I will keep my ear to it but I would expect to have a large play against Texas, especially if they play Utah. I just dont see how they can get up for that game.

This year proved Gump is a fraud. It was a fraud he even got in that game last year and he gets to play a lay down in Ohio State. Unreal he has a ring and even with the QB troubles this season with that talent is inexcusable.

No question that you were spot on with Miles from day one. He is an absolute fraud, and LSU will be mediocre at best until his dismissal.

They got LSU playing either Va Tech or Iowa in one of 2 bowl games. I would like to see them play a team who throws it fairly well. I doubt Va Tech and Iowa can throw it that well. I want to pound whoever plays LSU but at least want a decent passing team.

Both of those teams will be better prepared than LSU. The players do not respect Miles.

Too bad that Herbstreit leaked that story a couple of days early last season, or Les would be in Ann Arbor right now.

From what I was told just now, there should be three firings on defensive staff tomorrow or tuesday. DL coach Lane is out for sure. Miles is looking to get Orgeron as DL coach. Seems like Orgeron wants DC position. I sure hope he doesn't get it.

The new DC will have say in Peveto and Mallory staying or going, if those guys accept the demotion to begin with. WR coach McCarthy has another offer, and I would not mind him leaving, except that he will cause us some problems with 2-3 big time recruits. Miles is looking to keep him on.

I wouldn't have posted this, but the guy who just called me seems to be on top of this type of thing. Years ago, he called the Saban hire and then he called the Miles hire. At the moment, he has no idea who the DC candidates are......

I did hear Miles wanted Orgeron. I figured the co DC's would be gone.
