16-9-1 last year
12-13 this year

getting it started for the opening games:

Temple -7 not seeing much love for the Owls...this team finished strong, better running team, better defense

Ohio + 1 1/2... staying in the MAC... Tettleton ability to pass and run makes the difference here. see this being a tight game so I will take the points

SDSU -4 home field may keep this close early, but see the Aztecs pulling away in the 2nd half

good luck to all :toast: :toast:

2-1 so far

I will concede that TCU is the better team here, but I thing Louisiana Tech has the athletes and playmakers to compete in this game. Looking for a least one big special teams play to keep this one close. Regardless, I will take the points...getting close to being back to the opening line...

LA Tech +10

good luck to all :toast:

First of all Merry Christmas to all.

Should have around 5 games that I am really high on this bowl season and Monday is the first. Love North Carlolina in this spot. Have not been impressed with Missouri or the conference for that matter. Running offense plays into the North Carolina run defense. Hoping for a staight up win, but I will take the points.

UNC +5.5

good luck to all :toast:

so much for the UNC rush defense

On to Tuesday:

Little Ceasars Pizza Bowl: $5 for a large pizza, still the best value around. These teams seem to match up pretty well, but I believe that to sustain drives you have to be able to run the ball. Purdue can do that and Western struggles from that end. Both teams started to reve up the offenses down the stretch. Gonna take the better running team here

Pudue -3

Belk Bowl: Two more teams that seem to match up pretty well. NC State put up some impressive totals the last two games and Lousiville won 5 of their last 6. I know you can't put a ton of stock into common opponents, but both played at Cincy and Louisville faired much better. Also, the loss at Boston College down the stretch was troublesome. I give the edge to Louisville defense.

Louisville+ 1 1/2

good luck to all :toast:

Friday:

Byu +1

Iowa ST. +1

the other MSU -6.5

good luck all :0074

been a strange bowl season with some amazing finishes that have changed the ATS either way and the high percentage of favorites winning. I figured that missed extra point would cost me on the other MSU game. Oh well, onward and upward.
today:

Really love two of these games, but 0-2 so far on these calls, so feel free to lang me.

Northwestern + 10 :0074

team finished well down the stretch and has the offense to keep up with the let down kids from Texas.

Vanderbilt -1 :0074

Love the defense and the fact that they were in almost every game playing a difficult schedule.

and in the first bowl game every with teams combining for more losses than wins, I'm taking the team that I believe has the better defense and will find a way to get some offense....assuming they have any coaches that show up:

Illinois - 2 1/2

good luck to all and Have a happy New Year:toast: :toast:

This is just getting comical now. Glad the Northwestern D could finally step up on 3 and 1 and force a chip shot fg to lose the cover by 1.:sadwave:

This was one of my strong plays for the season, but getting a little worried with everyone and their brother on this side. But a play none the less:

Clemson -3:toast:

good luck to all

Ouch... glad Clemson decided to lay down after the big turnover....what a joke. ACC might have proven to be the worst BCS conference in the land.

Friday:

taking the more athletic team.....one overacheived all year in an average conference, one was above average in the best conference.

Arkansas - 8

good luck to all

Big believer in how teams finished the season. SMU came limping in an and Pitt won a few big games and lost a tight one to WVU 21-20. Big East has also been very impressive in the bowls to date.

Pitt - 3.5

good luck to all :toast:
