Joe Lee's "prevent" defense "prevented" me from cashing that 2nd half bet, which up until the drowning of the coach with the water bucket seemed to be well in hand.... :cursin:
Oh well.... I had a little more on Memphis for the game than the second half, so I still made a small profit last night...even though I was really sweating at the end of the game.
Today, I'll pass on the early game with so many uncertainities with QB's and coaching staff....
As for the late game, I'm already on Rutgers +13 and pondering an attempt at a middle with the line drop.... We'll wait and see what the line does this afternoon.... I might bite on Ariz St if the line keeps falling.... Best of luck on the Clem/Col game to those that are playing....

...just got backdoored on my middle last night. oh well, still made some nice coin with the Rutgers cover and didn't give all of it back attempting my middle. That's the way it goes sometimes.... You just have to be willing to take your shots from time to time.... If Ariz St would have won by 12, I would have been kicking myself for not trying the middle.... Also made a little pizza and beer money on the Col/Clem teaser....

That being said, I had given some thought to just scalping this early game by taking Boise on the ML +whatever...especially considering that it seems like everyone and their brother is on BC this afternoon.... But I decided to just stick with my original play on BC.... It just looks like too much of a size advantage on both the Off and Def lines.... BC "should" be able to run the ball down Boise St's collective throat.... If the % of folks on BC were not so overwhelming, I might consider putting a little more on BC, but since this is shaping up to be "one of those games" - I'll just stick with my early play.

In the early game I took Minny (a few days ago) on the ML -170...and now with Virginia +190, I am thinking about a scalp.... The line movement has me thinking that I'm on the wrong side now.... I could take Virginia +6 (or more) or play them on the ML +190 (or more) and not have to sweat the game at all.... Any feedback would be appreciated, fellas.
From the first post, you can see I have NW ML +150 and I'll stick with that wager....
I was thinking of taking ole "Run-it-up" Steve, but with the line movement and seeing a couple of guys I respect on the other side, I will likely pass on this game....

I would try to middle half of the bet with VA +7. I believe it opened at 3, so if Vegas is right you have a nice day. Just my opinion, I don't see VA pulling out a W.

Hedged 2/5 bet Va +7 (-115)
Hedged 1/5 bet on Va ML +225
...if Va wins outright, I will still lose money, but not near as much. Best case, Minny wins by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7.
