Bowl Season....PAC 12 Fade-um

It wouldn't be the holidays if I didn't stop by and offer some cheer. Hope you all have a great Christmas.

This summer, we had to evacuate from the Caldor Fire. 2 Days ago we got 4 ft of snow overnight....... One extreme to another.

Anyway, it's the fade the PAC 12 season and most of you know that I always fade the league to show my disdain. As silly as it sounds, it's been tres lucrative over the years, and I'm not one to break with tradition........

Utah St +7......*I actually like the job Jonathan Smith has done with the Beavers. I took in a couple of games in Corvallis back when D Erickson brought some stability to the football program, and Jonathan was the real deal. **Footnote: D Erickson also brought up the crime rate in Corvallis by recruiting some outlaws. Of course, when your winning, nobody complains.

I could actually see OSU winning here but think the points might be the difference......and it's kind of funny that Jonathan Smith runs the ball 60% of the time, but I haven't been very impressed with the Beavers D and Utah St loves to throw the ball all over the field.

I wish I had bet Utah St to win the Mtn West at the start of the season (I think it was 100-1)........ Has the potential to be a good game, and the points are a nice cushion.

I also bet EMU +9'

Yeah D....... This latest storm set new records for the amount of snow that fell. I hate digging snow but we (West Coast) need the white crap.

I was wondering how it would play out for New Years (it's pretty big in Tahoe) not so much in Reno. I usually head out to Reno to watch games but think I'm staying put.

This last snowfall closed all the ingress and routes out of Tahoe and Reno (lots of Bay Area folks have homes here) but people were literally paying gas stations to park and stay warm. Finally, roads opened yesterday, and I was curious if all the people that got stuck might decide to say, "fuck it" not going back. However, I just drove to Safeway and the main thoroughfare is grid lock (wasn't expecting that). Took me an hour to drive 3 miles...... So it appears that the people didn't learn their lesson.

Anyway, so much fun

Don't be afraid.......... Wisconsin -10......10 u...ASU will have issues scoring. If Wisconsin gets up by 14 I don't see how ASU can stay close.

*I haven't decided if I'm going to bet the Utah +4 in the Rose Bowl..... Ohio St has a ton of guys out and I question their motivation in this match-up.

I'm playing Notre Dame fairly large........ Think Cowboys might not be focused (they were close to playing in the playoffs) but like Ohio St, I just don't think they will bring much to the table.
