The Huskies are just 4-24 their last 28 vs ranked teams and I think the Horned Frog defense should be able to keep Wolfe in check somewhat. With the 17th ranked offense in the nation, TCU should be able to move the ball with easy. Look for Brown to have a good game both rushing and receiving the ball tonight.

Las Vegas Bowl Dec 21st
BYU M/L (-145) Win

Beck will be looking for redemption after last years near comback win in this very bowl. Cougar Head Coach Mendenhall will have something to prove after taking over for Duck offensive coordinator Gary Crowton.

Big question mark at QB for Oregon who has more or less limped into this Bowl game. I'll go with the QB who set the record for passing yards in this game last year.

New Orleans Bowl Dec 22
Rice -3 (-129) pinny Loss
The Owls have really turned things around under new head coach Graham. This guys changed the entire attitude of the program from the play calling to the uniforms. It took a few weeks under his new scheme for everyone to gel, but they've really got things clicking heading into this contest. This will be like the Super Bowl for Rice , who has not made a postseason appearance for 45 years....

Armed Forces Bowl Dec 23rd
Utah M/L (-109) Win

The Bowl History that Utah has is stellar as of late not only reaching, but winning their games. I look for the Utes to bounce back from a last second loss to BYU their last game of the season. Tulsa hasn't impressed down the stretch losing 3 of 4 and I feel the Mountain West has proven to be the better of these two conferences this year.

Hawaii Bowl Dec 24th

Over 71@ pinny Strong Play Loss
The Warriors have gone over the total 5 straight years in this contest and with the nations top ranked offense, I see no reason they won't make it 6. Their past 2 appearances in this Bowl at Aloha Stadium have yielded 90+points.

Motor City Bowl Dec 26th

Middle Tenn State +10.5 (-123) Loss
With Kelly heading off to Cincy, this will be the first game played under assistant Jeff Quinn for the Chippewas. I think they will have their hands full with a Blue Raider team who went face to face with the likes of Maryland, Oklahoma, Louisville and South Carolina out of conference this year. I expect a huge effort from State and they should keep this one close.

Independence Bowl Dec 28th

Oklahoma State ML (-126) Win

Like the Cowboys in this spot. They played Oklahoma right down to the wire in their season finale and should be pleased to even be in a Bowl game this season. Bama has limped into this Bowl and still has no idea as to who the head coach will be next year. State has won 10 of their 16 Bowl games and I expect to see them earn their 11th Bowl victory this year.

Don't have the stats right in front of me, but I remember a strong system play against any favorite who won as a DD dog their previous game. I smell letdown for S. Florida today....I think the Pirates should be able to control this game on the ground against a team who has given up over 300 yards rushing their past two games.

wasnt the majority of that against WVU who obviously is a rushing team?? Didnt they also defeat that team??

yes and yes.....This is a system play for me as double digit dogs who win outright the last game of the regular season and are inserted as a favorite in their Bowl game tend to struggle.....I'm at work now and don't have the numbers in front of me, but a play against in this situation I believe hit close to 70% of the time....But don't quote me on that...
