2005 NCAA Regular Season: 44-40 (-0.33*)

2005 NFL YTD (12/20/05): 37-27 (+6.55*)

(1) I'll keep a tally of all my Bowl plays in this thread, but individual plays (including write-ups, newspaper links and the like) will be posted in separate threads for each game and/or each day and/or a short series of games.

(2) Dissappointing Bowl seasons the last two years have been partly - and I believe primarily - attributable to a lack of thoroughness and focus in both years while otherwise occupied during the busiest season of the year; and that further led to a lack of decisiveness that had me forsake my initial takes on some of my strongest plays . . . This year, I've spent the usual quota of time up to this point getting properly geeked and stoked, and now I need to stay with it during the next 2+ weeks as best I can.

You can't win a golf tournament on Thursday, and you can't win a football game in the first quarter. You can lay down some strong markers, and you can come close a lot more frequently in football (and December Bowl games are an atypical breed), but you can't.

Unlike my regular weekend routine, so far I've been following almost all the games on sportsline.com and the Madjack's forums. :bigear: It's been memorable that way. :yup :142lmao: :wall: :grouphug:

While the one bad play on Georgia Tech has me the most upset, more costly has once again been my usual end of December confliction  (say what?) of circumstances that has kept me from jumping on some plays I liked but was not committed to through customary deliberations. Tonight, it was taking a nap after being worn out by the early games, and forgetting to follow up on how much I was liking LSU on my first look before Christmas.

Onward with what most likely will turn out to be another Bowl season with a couple too many plays and even a few more too few. :mj03:
