ASU 3rd quarter Pick (-120) for 2.5* - A little hedge bet, but ASU gets the ball first and if they score a TD, this bet looks solid. Don't like 2nd half wager.

Michigan State +5.5 for 10* and 1st half +3 for 5* - Really like this play as BC was terrible late in the year... sure Michigan State has some injury problems and disciplinary problems, but I still expect a Spartan win.

Houston +7 (-120) for 10* & 1st half +3.5 for 5*... Cougars playing at home and getting a nice number... Cougars should win easily, but they will at least cover the spread!

Maryland +5 for 10* - Laying off 1st half as +3 is unavailable right now. Terps should win this game.

7-3-1 Bowl Record on sides... very disappointing end to the night as Houston missed a FG that would have made things very interesting and Maryland missed a short FG... I guess things start evening out.

I also lost on Southern Illannoy when Graves hit the bomb. I might have to back off my wagers a little bit as I lost a little bit on the day.

2nd Chalk play of the bowl season (Too bad I didn't lay more wood Friday!)

Wake Forrest -1.5 for 10*
Wake Forrest 1st half Pick (-120) for 5*

I have looked at everything and can't find many reasons to back UConn... sure the Huskies were tough @ home, but this game is being played in Charlotte, North Carolina where the Demon Deacons should have a nice home field advantage. I know Wake Forrest has a few guys who will not play, but they have the better QB IMO in Skinner, the best WR on the field in Kenneth Moore (87 catches this season!), and I rank the Demon Deacons as having the better defense despite the fact they gave up a few more points per game (Wake played the tougher schedule). WF has also covered 6 of their last 7 games and they won @ UConn last season 24-13... granted the Huskies are improved, but they still leave a lot to be desired offensively. Also, Wake Forrest is fairly solid against the run and UConn depends on their running game to beat teams.

UConn was also outscored 93-24 in their last 2 road games by Cincy & West Virginia. I think UConn had a surprise season, but they won't surprise Wake Forrest.

Wake Forrest lost their first 2 games to Boston College and then lost to Nebraska when Riley Skinner was injured. Wake Forrest also lost @ Clemson and @ Virginia. All UConn's losses came away from home & they should lose another game on Saturday.

Big difference between C-USA and SEC. I also feel Central Florida is weak enough defensively that the Bulldogs will score enough points to win.

Adding Under 56 Central Florida/Miss State for 5* - Local has the number 3 points higher than offshore books plus I pegged the total in the mid 40's so hopefully a winner.

I played the Under on Wake/UConn earlier, but didn't have time to post before kickoff.
