Damn Irish, the more I follow your plays the more I lose. Your 1st Q bet seemed good, but you have been ice cold on the bowls so far.

Here's a tip. If you're gonna coattail, keep your trap shut when you lose. If you can't keep your trap shut, do your own capping.

Where are your plays posted forest29???? Since you are so willing to police, maybe you can back your mouth up with some picks. Oh yeah, you just talk, you don't post plays, so shut it, and go "Run Forest Run!!!!!!" LOL

See, that's what I'm talking about...your apparent unwillingness (innability?) to do your own homework. If you had bothered to check, you'd find that I have posted plays from time to time, my record for posted plays being 4-6 I believe.

I'm pretty new to the board and to capping as well but I have learned a couple of things in my short time. You don't go into other folks' threads and bash their picks, especially when you've coattailed and lost. Have a little respect for the time and effort others put into their capping, especially when you don't do you own.

BTW, I notice you have ZERO posted picks. So before you say anything about my record, why don't you start one of your own?

Oh and Forrest Gump is spelled with two r's, and I NEVER RUN.

No Worries here fellas... he has an opinion and expressed it and I have been cold of late (3-6). But I haveto point out the So. Miss play that accounted for 3 of those L's. I know that with all the work dblbn you knew that Almond was going to fumble on the goal line, after driving 70 plus yards in 3 mins. Then on the next possesion on the 48 yard line the fullback fumbled, but I guess your digging would have told you that, and considering the Eagles outscored their opponetes 152-24 in the first quarter THOSE were pretty bad misques that swing my record from 3-6 to 6-3. But you are entitled to your opionion best of luck this season because remember we are only 4 games into a big bowl season.

"its easy to grin when your ships come in and you've got the stock market beat, but a man worth while is a man that can smile when his pants are too tight in the seat"....

Oh by the way... I'm not trying to lose the games either. :mj21:

Irish, personally I appreciate your insight and DD. I know you're smart enough not to let some newbie change your approach or thinking. Keep up the good work. GL

Houston (+3) over Kansas
I have played Kansas a lot this year and I think they many problems on offense. The jayhawks will more than likely turn to Luke to lead the KU offesne. Luke the better QB has problems with accuracy and doesn't make the best decisions. Now another thing is the jayhawks struggle on the road and even though KU should have a crowd Houston should have more red in the stands. The jayhawks are very good on defense but they are best when the have 4 down linemen and 3 backers, the spread offense is going to force them to change that defense. Houston has a 1000 yard rush but they should make the difference through the air. Kolb should be able to take advantage all night and the fast paced style should cuase problems for Kansas. Kansas will attempt to establish the run but Hoston has the speed at LB to stop them. I think Luke at Qb is the better option for the offense, he still doesn't have a lot of talent. Houston not traditionally a defensive power shouldn't have a problem with such a poor KU offense. While Houston normally tries to outscore teams and should outscore KU tonight. I also like the leadership Kolb shows. He has run this offense for 2 previous years and show control it enough to make KU playing a blitz. Also I am not sold on the KU coach, he has shown me many bad things that cost KU a few more wins.

Nevada (-2.5) over CFLA

I'm not sold on this central florida team. They have turned themselves around but the NBevada offense shouldn't haver a problem jumping out to a lead on them. The nevada offense if you don't know you will because the announcers never shut up about it. Modified shotgun style offense with a solid QB. neither team solid defensively but Nevada has the edge. No time for more of a write up. Love the Nevda offense in this game. CFla has kind of backed into this game and they do not have enough on the line to get pressure and they do not have enough in the secondary to stay with the pack recievers.

Clemson (-10) over Colorado
The tiger defense will be the story in this game. They will be all over Klatt and when he feels the pressure he turns the ball over. The only player he feels comfortable throwing to is the TE Klopenstien (sp). The Buffalo defense is terrible and should be not mathc to the speed of clemson. Question mark is the QB Whitehurst, he had surgery to fix up his shoulder. He should get the start tonight but it is something to watch out for on the Clemson play. However the back up QB for Clemson did get some reps against Duke and looked pretty sharp but this is not duke, BUT they are not that much better defensively. I think some of the buffalos will give their best effort with Hawkins coming in next year but all in all this team backed into the bowl game. Colorado were outscored 130-22 in losing their final 3 games of the season, and should not have enough in the tank to play with clemson which started to get hot at the end of the season.

Ariz St (-9) over Rutgers
Home game for the sundevils, with a high power offense. BUT 75 Rutgers students will be randomly selected to receive $300 stipends for travel expenses to Phoenix. Rutgers may be able to exploit a terrible Arizona State defense that allowed 29.0 points and 463 yards per game. The knights will need plays from Hart and Lenard and they should get them but the devils can counter and they should be able to out run the knights as other passing teams have done this season. Rutgers struggles with the pass and Ariz st will throw the ball effectively all day. Sun devils play well at home and the Sun Devils enter this game ranked 3rd in the nation in passing at 364.9 yards per game and 4h in total offense (504.5 yards per game) while averaging 36 points. That offense will be too much for the knights.
