LSU un42 x2 Do not see how LSU moves the ball effectively, particularly on a wet field with #4 tailback (who missed last year with a blown out knee) and a 5'5 160 track star toting the ball. LSU has the edge outside based on height and athleticism of the WRs, but I question whether JJ can get the ball to them in these weather conditions. LSU D is led by a confident core of talented DBs. The DL lacks depth, but Penn St OL does not scare anyone. LSU has very good speed and cover skills in secondary, but have stuck with a slow senior as nickelback for much of the season and that has cost them dearly in pass coverage in at least 2 games.
Side note, LSU TE Dickson is back and in full health for the 1st time since early in season. He is a senior team captain, and wears the #18 jersey which is passed down from team leader to team leader. This will be an emotional game for him, and my guess is he will be highly onvolved in the scheme. Any props on his totals catches will likely go over.
