My wife will sometimes chide me for spending so much time in these forums, describing me (and all of you) as degenerate...so I asked her to read this thread in its entirety (now 3 pages), then left the room...when I returned she handed me a 20 from her wallet and said "Put this with yours when you send it".

I sent my $20 this am. I'm on the West Coast so it may take a couple of days to get there. Good Luck with this endeavor; hopefully he will be able to buy a Big Screen for the upcoming Bowl Games and Hoops!

Just read this and its a very touching story. Always enjoy reading your posts box. I'm sending out 10 individual envelopes with $5 each in them tomorrow. Thats the least I can do. I consider myself very fortunate when I hear stories like this. We should all be thankful for what we have.
