Just like to thank all the great people here at madjacks.Appreciate all the nice comments and pats on the back.Also appreciate all the knowledge and wisdom from many of you.Always learned a lot from you all and got many,many winners from you all.
It;s kinda like a fraternity of some sort.We all have one thing in common in beating our"man" or now "island".We all are different ages,come from different walks of life yet have that one common bond, half of us want Carmelo to kick ass or Collison to hit his freak'in FT's.
Last nite I went back to the archive and read a few of my patented posts. "Luv on the Hudson"... "Snowed in on the Hudson"...."Floating down the Hudson"[went 0-4 that day]..etc
Siena and Karawanga,Flores and Manhattan,Niagara's Mendez,and of course my next door neighbor Marist.Probaley bored you guys with my long and winded posts.But over 150 of you guys responded with kudos,suggestions,disagreeing with respect,and humor.
But the key was there was always respect.Never ever was there "dissing" or "bashing".
I take my hat off to all of you.The Toronto's V's,Noles 47,Superbooks,Buddies,Hoops, Thunder, TJ's,Bear,Pt gd..and on and on and on.So, so many to thank.
Again I hope you all have a safe spring and summer.I'll pop in once in awhile and play some parlays in baseball.
If any of you are ever in the Hudson Valley near West Point get my e-mail from madjack.And speaking of madjack I do want to thank you for giving me a place to BS.You and your adminstrators do a great job here keeping all the bashing to almost nada.
Am really happy for Jimmy Boe today.It's nice to see a NY and Big East team win the NCAA's.And the Johnnies win the NIT.[even though they played 5 home games]
So tonite its a sweep.Conn -1 over Tenn
Tenn has a better frontline with Ely and Jackson.With Butts out on the wing the lady Vols can put points on the bd.But the Conn. puppies of Moore,Turner, and Crockett will play them tough.And how about a Crockett[davey] playing for Conn.
Vols gds of Lawson and Moore are outstanding.But Diani Taurasi is the best womans basketball player I have ever seen.She does it all from shooting,dribbling,rebounding and passing.
Tenn's transition defense and depth are excellent.But Taurasi is the Carmelo of the finals.
Tenn overall has the better talent,is more experienced and coached by Pat S.Gino is an outstanding coach besides being a great recruiter.
These are the 2 best teams in womans b-ball.The 2 of them have won 6 of the last 8[3 each] Huskies won by 1 in OT this yr.But after winning 75 of there last 76 games you can see them struggling yet winning.
What more could you ask for in a final game.Either team can win so its not a strong play.But I'll lean with Gino's girls and a girl by the name of Taurasi.
It's a Big East sweep.....

Peace and pray that our kids come back home safe and that bunker bomb hit like a McNamara jumper in the 1st half.....
