Well, we had over a foot of snow.Add the wind drift to one of my cars and its 2 feet.Just brutal.But I dug one car out and drove to my Deli in the village[3 blocks] to get my Sunday papers,breakfast special,and BS with all my boys.
Outside the deli was a pickup truck with a snow plow.The truck was idling as the owner went in to get his coffee.It's a guy I know in the village.He was at the atm machine trying to get money out.I said Richie,do me a favor...you know where I live right.It will take you 2 minuts to plow my ass out."Here's 20 bucks and I'll hook you up with breakfast a few times too."
I ate breakfast with my boys for half an hour.Drove the 3 blocks home and my driveway never looked so good.I got out of the car and chopped up the snow bank were you could see the plow marks.That took about 10 minuts.
Bought my wife her customary coffee when she off's.About half an hour ago she woke up.Saw me on the computer and said you better get your butt out there and shovel."We're going to the 11.00 am mass.
I said "honey,I woke up at 6.00 am and freak'in shoveled the entire driveway.She looked outside and said"wow,I'm impressed".
Hubie Brown once said" the dog may bark but the caravan still goes on".
Need advice on the football games today.I'm like a windshield wiper.I read about Atlanta and love them.Then Philly and the cold,Vick can't do this,etc.Pats and Steelers is even worse.Love the Pats and 5 minuts later love the Steelers.I know whoever I take will lose.
I like the under in Philly 37 pts.Will go over to football forum for advice.

Dukies -11 over Bonnies *
I actually capped this game.Both cellar dwellers of the A-10.Dukies are 4th in the nation in FT%.Has one of the top scorers in the A-10 in McAllister.Achara is decent in the middle.Higgins is back from sickbay.Osimani is a gd pt gd.
Bonnies have Lottin who just came back.Smith is a pretty decent pt gd.Dunston can score.But they have no one else.There last in the A-10 in 6 or 7 catogories.FG%,FG%,TO Margin,3 pt,etc,etc.
Dukies laying 11 is a lot but lyr they did beat some A-10 teams at home by that number.They beat XU and Mass by 13 and 26.They beat Bonnie by 7 in Olen but lost at home to them.
Small play.

Notre dame -3 over Georgetown *
Can't get a good read on the game.ND shooting gives them the edge.But Green inside is having a great yr.And outside for that matter.Small play because George has beaten up some solid teams.

Ust to have to shovel snow when I was a young'un in North Dakota. So, I've been there, 21 degrees here in Texas but very sunny. Your right about Tornado's, we get a few good ones.

Man, I ws thinging GT, know have to rethink, like the Dukies.

Spang,I thought the same thing.Dukies laying double digits.But figuring out the numbers I had Bonnies in such negative pts that my number came between -11 to -14. So I took Dukies for a small play.And with the same starting 5 they beat XU and Mass lyr by DD's.
But the way the game ended was a nightmare.With 54 seconds left with Dukies in pretty much control up 14 pts, Bonnies take a 3 pt shot off balance.Osmani leaps from 5 ft away to try to block the shot and fouls the player.He of course hits all Ft's.It's an 11 pt game.Then some FT's from Dukies makes it a 13 pt game.With 25 seconds on the clock but 21 on shot clock,Dukies are freezing the ball.Bonnies don't foul and Dukies are just passing the ball.They let the shot clock expire on purpose.Bonnies dribble up the floor.Someone shoots a layup kinda uncontested,misses,Bonies rebound.[I'm seeing a push play] shoot again miss,Dukies rebound..buzzer Dukies win by 13 and cover.
Ugly win but I'll take it

Now how about the Notre Dame ending.Wow.Another win and cover.That game had disaster all over it. Hoyas up 2 but Quinn hits that 3 after getting the ball blocked.In 4 seconds Hoyas get the ball up,dish to the 7'0 and slam dunk at the buzzer.Hoyas win by 1.I love it.But if Quinn misses that shot ND fouls putting Hoyas on the FT with a 2 pt lead.Cover in jeopardy.But again get lucky.

Might play Maryland,might pass.
Terps own NC St.In last 8 games Terps are 6-2 SU.And ats 5-3.I know it was awhile back but freak'in Columbia gave the Pack a game.A night later Johnnies destroyed them.Manhattan played them tough.

Hokie..you guys got hit harder then us.Thank god its over.
