oh and btw, Huck looked pretty good, he's back from his loss against Cunningham, its always a good thing if a young fighter stays active....the Italian of course was pretty bad.

Kind of weird stoppage though, the Italian was clearly kept upt by the ropes, but the ref didnt intervene and Huck finishes...

But you bet on the homefighter in Germany, so that was pretty safe... ;-)

Nice to hear you're 6 out of 6!

I'm on Six Heads too...I still remeber that old joke Six heads and no chins...hehe, well I hope he has one chin that holds up...

sorry about that NJ

I should have been more clear

just trying to stir the pot for some good madjack karma

I have a parlay going that will hit the motherload if six heads pulls this off:

Chris John over 10.5
Escalante
Hearns
Guinn
Bute by 12 round decision
Kessler under 11.5
Huck under 11.5
Six Heads Lewis

I don't expect this to hit (too much good luck for one weekend)....but if it does beer and steak on me guys !!!!!!!!

the fight is in Lewis' hometown and Eastman may have some personal problems (with his brother)....so a few factors point to the upset....

however there is one huge problem....Eastman has a great chin (only stopped by Miranda)....

and six heads....well....six heads doesn't have any chin....one of the worst around.....

hope he puts his dancing shoes on tonight....let's go hometown decisions !!!!!

bout 5 gs Eddy

I know there are some big time players at madjack

but its a lot for me

I'm hoping this works out

I just found this article

http://www.guyanachronicle.com/sports.html

don't like the tough talk from Lewis....he shouldn't be going for a KO with that shaky chin....hope he has the right game plan

I will probably be going nuts tonight scanning the internet looking for a result....no TV...and african fights are notoriously tough to find early results on....

least I can distract myself losing a bit of cash on the UFC...lol

Thats nice!!!
I havent hit 5 g's in months dude. its a tough gig but im pulling for you.

The fight is Guyana (Caribbean part of South America) and not Ghana (Africa) so I'm sure you'll be able to find the results rather easliy

sorry to be bring the bad news fellas

another god damn split decision

http://www.cananews.net/news/128/

BOXING-GUYANA-RESULT Eastman retains Guyana middleweight belt

PROVIDENCE, Guyana, Oct 26, CMC ? Howard Eastman retained his Guyana national middleweight boxing title when he beat Andrew Lewis on a split decision on Saturday night at the National Stadium.

SON OF AN BITCH !!!!!!!! ARGHHHGGHHGHHG!

feels like getting kicked right in the nuts. lewis' chin holds up and two cards go the other way.

knew it was too good to be true.

there's always next week.

Tough break man, I was pulling for you. Would have been sweet if they called it a draw. Sounds like you had a pretty good week even though the parlay didn't work out. There are plenty of good opportunities coming up.

hey thanks Romi

can't cry over spilled milk...right back at it next week

would have loved a draw...parlay would have still paid quite well. can't find the scores anywhere, but i just assume not here them...the closer the scores the more pissed off I'll be !

a very good week overall. I stand by the six heads bet. and guinn was a sweet hit. only 1 regret. not pounding the hearns opening line more. that was a complete mismatch and an EASY call.

we'll get em next week.

can't wait for Sturm-Sylvester and Mijares-Darchinyan.

looks like Eastman knocking him down in the 7th was the difference in the fight....1 freaking point....six heads and no chins....oy vey.....

"At the end judge Clairmont De Souza scored the bout 115-110 for Eastman, judge Bernard De Santos scored it 114-111 in favour of Lewis and Carlton Hopkinson scored it 113-112 for the middleweight champion of Guyana Howard ?Battersea Bomber? Eastman. Pandemonium and alarm, once again, erupted in the National stadium in unison."
