You guys must be livin' right, you're lucky I didn't jump on board, the close calls never go my way. But then again, my livin' isn't exactly clean...lol

WOW...just got home and saw the headline on Fightnews... LINARES KOS DIAZ. I thought for sure for a few secs that it was an early ko. My only wager this week and it's a decent payout. Congrats everybody. Good tip Franks!

Punchy, outstanding suggestion. I did'nt go along, but it was a stroke of brilliance.

Thanks Frank. Seemed to make a lot of sense and it just happened to work out perfectly. Capping boxing is something. We can all help each other out because I know there are obvious things that I just don't see until after the fight like Mayweather's easy route that so many here and (elsewhere) were on . Let me know when you want to hook up at a sportsbook. I know I'll be ringside at The Hard Rock on Thursday night for Joshua Clottey vs. Shamone Alvarez and the thing that is Tye Fields.

Here's a thought for a hedge that could turn out nicely..... a lot of people do think that the gifted Linares will eventually stop Diaz. Take about half your bet on the over 7.5 and parlay Linares inside with Marco Huck in a couple weeks( After some Youtubing- I don't see Cunningham winning in Germany) In the event that Linares is fired up and gets it done earlier than we all anticipated, you've got some of your loss back on the 29th when Huck handles USS. Obviously what I'm hoping for here is a Linares stoppage from 1:31 of round 8 on and that is by no means unlikely. Then you win the original over 7.5 bet and are now sitting on Huck at a nice number. And just for fun a I took some beer money and parlayed a Linares decision(+285) with Matsusada by stoppage(+205) (he did it once) for a 10x payout. Best of luck.
C'mon Linares, 10th round KO!!!!!!!!!

I didn't hedge since I already have a small wager on Cunningham. I saw the clip of Huck/Tokarov and not sure what all the fuss is about. I think Cunningham can outbox him over 12. He's certainly not going to stop Huck but I can see a dec win. The ? is whether or not he'll get a fair shake (sorry conan but that is the way many of us Yanks feel). It's only a hund..I got the opening @+300. Not willing to part w/any more than that.

Ending the year out on a nice 3 week rally. Nov was my worst month on the yr and I've recouped the losses.

I initiallly grabbed that +300 Romi, as it looked llike great value but then I watched some clips of Cunningham against the Polish champ in the 2nd fight in which Cunningham won and I wasn't the slightest bit impressed- kind of looked like jab and grab or fall in, clinch repeat. Didn't see any nice
combos put together . I think Huck has enough experience, skill and size for that boring crap not to work in Germany. We shall see..
