"the bunker"
it`s gonna be verrrry interesting watching vasquez coming at marquez like a freight train with marquez trying to keep him off with those slashing combo`s while stepping away to his left from that left hook....

even though he`s the better boxer, marquez has to do damage early..i don`t think a long fight is in his best interests...vasquez seems to carry his power and stamina late.....

rafael needs to break him up early...

i wish this were an hbo fight....i`d be all over the "marquez ahead after 3" prop(even though he`s been dropped in the 3rd in both fights).......

the ref did absolutly the right thing. In the replay it was clear that without the ropes marq goes down, but also marq was not totally out on his feet he was ducking and weaving. At first i thought he was totally out on his feet but not the case. The last round was a tremendous energetic effort by Vasquez he started like a meniac and he didnt stop for 3 min.
Great fight and these two will meet again.

i was browsing forums not paying much attention to the replay, in real time i saw marq out and done. he had already absorbed a horrible beating in the round and i thoguht was clearly going to lose the decision, after he fell into the ropes he took a massive right hand and i think a left hook as well flush. raf didnt look like he was bobbing and weaving to me. that was a brutal round, and a very courageous finish for him.

ill have to watch it again, the way the ref jumped in it seemed like a tko to me.

as i said in the other thread, its almost inhumane to see a 4th fight. in that one vasq wins easier.

in real time i had the same impression but in the replay it is clear that marquez is hurt and struggling with his balance but he is NOT totally out on his feet
