I am loving the Doggies this week.

Dirrell to beat Abraham at +220.
I think Dirrell is a faster, smoother version of Taylor with better stamina and Taylor was giving Abraham trouble for the first 4 rounds.
The fight is in the states so Dirrell should not get ripped off. I see him hitting Abraham 4 shots to 1 and by the time Abraham tries to come out of his shell, it will be too late.

Cayo to beat Maidana at +350.
Cayo has some skill and at some point I believe someone unexpected will beat the one dimensional Maidana and we will be scratching our heads and wondering "Where the Fuck did this guy come from".
Cayo might be the guy.

Guzman to beat Funeka at +210.
I know Funeka handed Guzman his arse the first time around but I believe a great fighter like Guzman has one great fight left in him.
I hope he will have trained like never before for this fight and we will see a version of Guzman who can keep doing what he was doing in the first 2 rounds.
I think Guzman was so used to winning easily that he was not motivated to train hard for Ali and was bothered from being cut early. When he had to dig deep for the first time ever, there was nothing in the gas tank.
A lack of stamina will make cowards of us all.
I expect a better version of Guzman this time.

A couple of observations-
I would love to see the odds on the Morales comeback fight as I believe he is completely shot and no amount of rest is going to help him.
He will end up getting pasted by a bum who would not last 2 rounds in his prime.
I have seen it too many times in the past-
Ali-Berbick
Sugar Ray-Camacho
Mancini-Haugen
Pryor-Bobby Joe Young
Guys who all looked good body wise but had NOTHING left fighting wise.

I think Moreno is off his rocker for fighting Cermeno in Venezuela.
He keeps winning away from home but this is going to bite him in the arse at some point.

Good Luck Boys!!!!! :toast: :toast:

Good to have you back on boxing wee! :toast:

Regarding your picks, as you know I am very often on dogs too, that helped especially last weekend. :00hour

This week, we have a lot of fights to play, I hope we will pick the right ones as a lot of us did during the last weeks.

Abraham vs. Dirrell:
I will not touch Dirrell, as Abraham is a good fighter, especially in the secound half of the fight. I think he can maybe win by late ko; so this and some double chances will me my take on this fight + a mid amount on fight starts 10 at -155.

Small-mid on Hatton at -200...

for all the other fights, we will have to see and hopefully get more infos oppinions on those.

But as I really like good + odds you can be sure I will be on some dogs too.

Lets get them next weekend!

Cheers
LotL

Don't think Morales is completely shot.

Don't think Morales is completely shot.

I expect a win and a better showing than most think. Time off and fighting at a natural weight will do him some good.

Zerwas, Brainiac, olddirty
any of my German boxing friends have an update for me on the Kretschmann TV show?

I was searching for it on youtube, but no luck

I am dying to know this big idiot's gameplan for this weekend

How much money has Arena Boxing put in the pot for Bakhtov?

I lost so much money on that big stiff the first time, I am actually very curious how this goes
I'm sick

I like it when the abc orgs show some balls. Godfrey is fortunate to be in the position he is in and if he chooses to pass up a golden opportunity then so be it. Personally, I didn't give him a good shot v Cunningham but he's at a place where he needs to make a move. The excuse Scully gave was just that...an excuse. I dont think he really wants the fight and he's using the "cancellation" as an out.

I agree 100%
Godfrey looking for a way out. So many fighters would kill for a shot at the cruiserweight title - he is showing hiis true colors here. I don't buy that shit for a second. And besides, what kind of lazy ass says "oh the fight might be off? Awesome. No sparring today ! Donuts and Cheescake !"

Godfrey is full of it.
