Mikey Alvarado returning next week from a cool stint behind bars.
Now isn't that nice.

What did Alvarado do?

Also I loooove Haye in this spot. I know his price is kinda steep (-480ish) but I don't see him losing at home vs. the inactive Ruiz. Haye is very marketable, quick-handed and explosive. He's the first guy on record to truly stun Valuev.I'm sure the powers that be still want that Klitchsko match.

This is great parlay material

Not nearly as busy as last week!

I already have some mony on George Groves.
He looks like a decent prospect, Adamu is tough and willing, but I doubt it will be enough here...

Haye is regarded as one of the few guys in the divisoin that actually poses a threat to the Klitschkos (I dont see that), but he should win against Ruiz.
I read in another forum though that Ruiz takes some kind of performance enhancing drugs...
I dont know about that, but he looks pretty trim these days...he's a bit slower now, but I wouldnt say he's finished just yet...

Hopkins should beat Jones...but wil he be able to get the ko?!

I can't resist

I am putting a small bet on Jones at +400.
B-Hop has got to turn old overnight at some point and I don't think he has the punch to starch Jones. Roy still has some speed and stamina with no chin.

I never thought I would see the day when Roy Jones would be +400 in a fight.

I also think Ruiz is a good bet for +450. He has a good chin and the type of mugging, wrestling style that could tire Haye out. This will not be like potshotting the Giant, Ruiz will force him to work and Haye has questionable stamina to say the least.

Good luck Boys!!!!! :toast: :toast: :toast:

Interesting odds on Roy Jones , he got hit on a sneaky spot early by Green, kind of like GSP vs Serra but I don't think he is absolutely finished . I have a feeling this will be a close decision , probably for Bhop .

I agree with you +450 is a good price, especially if you take into consideration what Zerwas mentioned regarding performance enhancing drugs...

BUT

If Haye wins he will be the next to fight the Klit. brothers -> BIG MONEY

and we all know how important money is in boxing...

hmmm....

Yeah, odds on RJ are really tempting.. :)
I really liked them until I saw the pics/video from his public workout/press conf or whatever it was. He just looked very unhappy and depressed there, as if that last KO took all desire out of him.

Maybe he just had an off day :) but he didn't look the usual confident self..

IMO its very hard for a guy who had it all to deal with being knocked out again and again...

Roys self-image must be seriously damaged.

Its a sad situation really...Hop is still hanging in there...he's still competetive, though I must say i wasnt that impressed with his last performance either (much better than roys though)...

I personally wouldnt touch Haye at -500 against an akward spoiler like Ruiz....
Ruiz has been waiting for this opportunity...he wont give in...Ruiz winning is another story though.

I wouldn't touch Haye or Hop either at those odds. Not out if the question that RJ could win a dec...likely outcome is Hop by dec but if he goes back to his 20 punch a rd output then RJ has a real shot. Ruiz has a sneaky way of making fights close and I can see him taking Haye out of his gameplan and frustrating him. Ruiz has always had sneaky power and I don't think Haye has the best stamina. I don't see either favorite as a lock.

Just a friendly reminder to all regarding the group discussion a few weeks back. PLEASE DO NOT discuss in any detail of any potential outcome BEFORE the odds are posted. Muchos Gracias
