The Taj Majal in Atlantic City brings you this gem:

I have a lot of parlays closing this week and are riding on Dawson. If Dawson wins, I get a huge chunk of change and a nice rebound. I also played dawson straight up for a good amt. If Tarver somehow lands the Sunday Left...:scared :scared :scared. It's not going to happen though. Dawson beats him in more impressive fashion and probably retires Tarver IMHO.
Better luck everybody!

Allright, for what it's worth. I'm told by an associate that is familiar with Dawson's training regimen that he is laying back this time out. Is only sparing a few rounds and is looking way past his opponent. He may not need a whole hell of a lot to beat Tarver, but I, at this point won't lay the lumber here. I don't know how accurate this report is, just that this is what I hear. For Romi's sake, let hope it just isn't so. Be advised I did'nt post this to break balls or anything, as I don't play when it comes to peoples money.

Tarver is unusually quiet, I dont know what that means, maybe he has lost his confidence or maybe he is really training hard....

Hopefully we can bounce back next week!

I've noticed a trend with Tarver over the years; he always loses the first match, then takes the revanche ( Eric Harding, Roy Jones, Glen Johnson)

If indeed Dawson takes him lightly ( and i've heard he badly fractured one of his hands recently) then i might play Tarver and hedge with Dawson on points

I think the only way Tarver can win is by KO. He simply doesn't throw enough punches anymore to win a decision.

Tarver has indeed a perfect record in rematches. I bet on him last time, as Johnsson hurt Dawson pretty badly and Tarver used to be a better puncher...this time may be over though...
I dont think Tarvers workrate has deteriorated that much, but in their last fight Dawson was simply to quick and ablte to take all of Tarvers punches....

I agrree with Ghost.Trver cannot win a dec. His only shot is to land that Sunday punch. Not going to happen IMO against an all around fighter in Chad. I think the real question is whether or not Chad can be the 1st to put him away. Dawson preob has enough to go 12 but if he gets in trouble I think Dawson goes for it.

Right! The only value here is whether Dawson can win inside the distance. It really depends on Dawson, if he's willing to jump on Tarver. He knows now he's superior so hopefully he acts that way. The match blows but hopefully Dawson can make the best of it and look sensational.

NJACB rejects Camacho

"New Jersey Athletic Control Board commissioner Aaron Davis has pulled the plug on Saturday?s scheduled fight between Hector Camacho Sr. and Yory Boy Campas at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City. The bout was to have been presented on pay-per-view. ?Hector was a legendary fighter who will also go down as one of the most flamboyant fighters in the sport. It is with the utmost respect for him that I have declined to approve the fight,? New Jersey Athletic Control Board commissioner Aaron Davis told the Press of Atlantic City."

Plugged pulled. Thank the Lord.
