i was looking at the siaca-del valle over.....both are tough to stop.....both have been inactive for about a year....probably won`t be sharp......del valle`s lefty stance and cuts seem to be the things that give me concern(but i don`t see cuts in either`s past as a big factor-sometimes a lefty and a righty can lead to headbutts...but del valle usually fights at a distance)....and the odds(-230).....i see the logic.....don`t know alot about the little asian`s except that these very small guys tend to go deep into fights...-280 is tough for me but it`s probably solid...

don`t know much about m`baye....but,harris has been coming on....usually,he will stop guys early if he`s gonna stop `em at all ......if you get through the first 3 or 4 rounds,i think you`ll get it........

Thanks for the opinions. Here are a few
of my reasons for liking these plays.

Arambulet-Niida over
These guys weigh 105 pounds, neither
has much power, and neither has ever
been KO'd. I hate laying -280, but this
is a system play that hasn't failed me yet!
System:
Under 122 pounds
Neither fighter has power
Neither fighter has been KO'd

Del Valle-Siaca over
Neither of these guys have much power.
Del Valle has never been KO'd. Siaca has
only been stopped once, and that was in
the 12th round to Byron Mitchell who recently
put Calzaghe on his ass for the first time.
Del Valle doesn't have that kind of power.

Harris-Mbaye over
Mbaye does't have much power and Harris has
never been KO'd. Harris has some power but
Mbaye is undefeated in 27 fights, which means
he too has never been KO'd. Harris has gone
the distance 3 of last 4 fights, and 6 of last 9.
Value play at +200

Still waiting for lines on the other fights.

Thanks for the info. I'm still waiting to see
what my books will put the lines at but it
helps having a general idea.

I just got done telling GW that I am going
to quit playing so many dogs. But I am
adding one more to my plays.

Neal over Salido +250

Orlando Salido is 17-8-1 and has been stopped
5 times!

Fred Neal is 17-1-2 and has only been stopped
once.

There are three things that make this a solid play:
#1 Fight is in Las Vegas, Neal is from Ohio and
Salido is from Mexico, crowd should be routing for
the American.
#2 Neal is 5'10" and Salido is 5'5", it will be very
hard for Salido to reach Neal's chin. Not to mention
the fact that Salido will be punching up and Neal
will be punching down. That will make a difference
in terms of energy spent and power achieved.
#3 Salido has been stopped 5 times by very weak
competition, and Neal has plenty of real KO power.

This question is for any of you:

I know little about boxing but will mess around with small wagers if I know I'm going to see a fight. If you place a wager on a boxer to win by KO, does that include if they win by TKO?

Those lines probably came from a book
that does not sponser M.J.'s. Therefor
patlives will not be able to post the name.

bjfinste
Usually that wager includes KO, TKO, and DQ.
But each book is different, so double check
before you make the bet.

BL is right the odds came from another book not listed. I like your Neal pick, any thoughts on the ov/un?

"the bunker"
guys

guys

i just saw this info.....oly doesn`t have this up,but, just a little fyi on salido........

this guy is 22 yrs old.....he started boxing professionally in 1996!!!!!....that means he was 15 yrs old when he started....many of the losses came when this guy was a teenager...this guy`s just finding his boxing legs...

he has 6 wins in a row over guys like lamont pearson, carlos gerena, rogelio tuur and radford beasley....a close decision loss to william abelyan(the ring`s #10 contender) and a majority decision loss to ex-champ cobrita gonzales.....tuur and gonzales have held some version of a world title and pearson ,gerena and beasley have all fought for some version of a title....

i see the odds are substantial....i understand taking the shot....but it`s by no means a mistake or a bagshot...the difference in caliber of opposition between these two is substantial.....be careful......and g.l.

Like I said Salido has been stopped 5 times
in his career. And Neal has been stopped
once. I wouldn't play the over.

GW
Thanks for the heads up. I noticed that
Salido has been a much better fighter in
the last few years. But I can't get over
the 5 stops. Neal has plenty of power
and his corner should be aware of
Salido's suspect chin. I look for Neal to
go right at the much shorter Salido and
test his chin early.

I'm waiting for lines on Harrison-Medina
and Frissina-Perez, I like the over in both
fights. Have you looked at those yet?

I see all of them listed at OLy as fights they will carry but no lines as of yet. The other book doesn't have them either.

KOD
I'm sure you will take Salido over Neal,
the fight ended an hour ago!!!

You've been hitting 100% since you started
posting plays after the fights are over.

Another excellent job KOD...???????

Adding

Adding

Harris over M'baye -350 2 units
Judah over Corely -240 1 unit

If Mayorga doesn't beat Forrest and
Mosely doesn't beat De La Hoya, I will never
play an underdog again!

BTW, I can't believe Corely wears women's panties
and waxes his eyebrows!

You were right about Salido. But I had no
idea Neal's boxing career took a backseat
to his fashion designing career. What a joke!
Neal should have went right at Salido and
tested his chin. Instead he was dreaming
of leather coats!

Is there anybody out there?

Is there anybody out there?

Will someone please give me a line for
Frissina-Perez and Harrison-Medina.

The hardest part should be picking the
winner, not trying to find the line!!!!!
