hatton`s smart...he flurries at the end of a round to try and give the judges a reason to throw it his way...
Guys at Boxrec had it split and VERY close. FVCK these biased ASSHOLE judges. It was a small play but Yuri needed a ko going in to get a W over there. I have all the respect in the world for Graham but I have to disagree with his take on the judging in England. IMO, it's incredibly biased towards the house fighter. I didn't watch the fight but if you are betting on the visitor, he damn well better beat the living sht out of the hometown guy. Hatton is going to get raped IF?WHEN he ever steps it up.
i believe the same will apply tomorrow in the leb/alex fight....
you guys have a shot with the hometown dog there....
don`t see many hometown dogs(that many think is the better fighter) very often...
i`m racking my peanut brain on this one...i like lebedev strictly on what i`ve seen...but i can`t allow myself to be foolish enough to ignore the hometown advantage...and the height advantage....
if lebedev were a small dog,i`d be there...but i don`t think i can lay the wood on the road....even given alexeev`s quitting on his stool vs a very unskilled,orthodox,short south american fighter...

It wasn't just the judging in this fight.
Hatton was allowed to grab at will.
The ref was a complete disgrace in the first round. Hatton gets decked and the ref pulls a Bute-Andrade. Hattons legs are wobbling all over the place and the ref halts proceedings twice and gives Hatton about 10 seconds worth of recovery time before letting the fight continue :nono:
And I think Yuri would have needed a KO to get a Draw :142smilie

my take as it progressed...I watched pretty much same as you guys I'd say...but a diff one than the 117-111
