you`re welcome......i agree....we have a small, hardcore group here and it surprises me that more folks don`t see the possibilities to make some jack on boxing....keep posting...i`ll try and post more stuff myself, although i have maybe forced a few to many favorites lately, and that,to me,goes against the golden rule....

i`m keeping my eyes open for some reasonably prohibitive dogs that have a legit shot.....g.l.

OK I am in . You should wear the dog avatar and run with the pack.

Garden and fletcher are really good with the fights and I read all their stuff.

Lewis vs Klitchcoski

Lewis comes into this fight having nothing to prove. Heavyweight champion and undisputed. I picked him to whip Tysons ass and voila that happened post haste.

The fights that Lewis gets into trouble with are the ones where his opponent is as tall as he is with a big punch.

Lewis can be hit and knocked out by a puncher if he is careless.
Klitchsox has a chance if he can connect on Lewis glass jaw.
Lewis boxing skills usually prevent this however. Lewis is also the smartest boxer that has come around in a long time. He is no fool and uses what God gave him to dismantle his opponants.

At +450 I give Klitchosko a chance but a small one for a KO. Most likely Lewis takes the guy out before 9 rounds.

I love boxing. Next to football it is by far my favorite sport to watch exspecially the heavyweights.

June 21, 2003 ......Heavyweight fight night.

Scott, I have to disagree with part of your statement about Lewis....he doesn't have trouble with the big men. I remember thinking several times whenever Lewis would fight someone his own size that he may be put to the test...but time and time again, he has demolished these guys in 5 rounds or less.
Razor Ruddock (KO round 2)
Henry Akinwande (Won by DQ Round 5)
Andrew Golata (KO round 1)
Shannon Briggs (TKO round 5)
Michael Grant (KO round 2)

Can Lewis lose this fight? Yes, if he doesn't take Vitali seriously. The two times he got knocked out are when he looked like he hadn't even bothered to train. My two biggest bets in boxing were placed on Lewis -- picking him to beat Rahman in the rematch and on Lewis in his fight over Tyson -- both were statement fights. In this case, he hasn't trained to fight Klitschko and may not be at the top of his game. Plus, Vitali at least has some decent fundamental skills. I don't think it will be enough to make a difference though although I wouldn't be shocked to see Lewis get dropped again.

I plan on betting the under, and may make a small play on Vitali to win by KO

" Sixty-seven years ago, a European fighter thought to be no match for a quick-handed power punching North American heavyweight, entered the ring with a sly confident smile. All he told skeptics was that "I see something."

Today, Vitali Klitschko (32-1, 31 KOs), who has been fighting out of Germany, prepares to enter the ring against WBC heavyweight title-holder Lennox Lewis (40-2, 31 KOs) on June 21 at the Staples Center, despite having only 10 days to adjust for his style.

He also says he "sees something" useful to exploit in the champion's technique.

It was Germany's Max Schmeling who fought a then undefeated Joe Louis on June 19, 1936, and despite being a large underdog, unraveled a weakness in the young heavyweight and promptly knocked him out.

Klitschko, who is friends with 98-year-old Schmeling, said he has spoken several times to the former world champion and was told "you have to be focused" despite all of the hoopla and drama.

The Ukrainian prizefighter discovered something in Lewis's style when the movie "Oceans Eleven" was being filmed two years ago. Klitschko's younger brother Wladimir played a role as a fighter opposing Lewis in a heavyweight title fight. Vitali watched closely as they rehearsed the scene over and over.

"It was done the same scene 20 times," Klitschko said. "It was not a real fight but all of his movements I was watching from the side."

But don't ask him what he spotted.

"I know what he prefers," Klitschko said of Lewis. "I don't want to talk about it."

All talk has been focused on the lack of time for preparation. Klitschko wishes he had more time.

"Actually two weeks is not enough time," said Klitschko during a telephone press conference. But after chasing Lewis for three years in hopes of fighting for the world title, he was not going to be denied by time.

"This is the biggest fight of my whole career," he said, adding that in the past few days he has sparred with six-foot, seven-inch Lance Whitaker. "Maybe I don't get another chance."

Born in the Ukraine, Klitschko has a doctorate degree in kinesiology, speaks five languages fluently and his only defeat came against current IBF heavyweight title-holder Chris Byrd after he quit due to a shoulder muscle tear. He is brimming with confidence despite Lewis's predictions of a fifth round knockout.

"All my other opponents were saying the same thing," said Klitschko with indifference in his tone. "They said they would knock me out but where are they right now?"

Criticized heavily because he quit against Byrd though winning handily one the scorecards, Klitschko dismisses the loss as a necessary action to avoid a possible knockout.

"I know I got really bad criticisms," he said. "But it was my own decision."

In a few days, the six-foot, eight-inch Klitschko will be face to face with the most talented heavyweight the world has seen since Mike Tyson in his prime. But if you ask him why he looks so confident, he simply smiles.

"I don't want to talk about it, I want to use those weaknesses in the ring," Klitschko said.

THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

THANKS FOR RESPONDING

GW- SORRY ABOUT THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY

badjab- YOUR RIGHT, LEWIS HAS BEAT EVERY BIG MAN HE HAS FACED. BUT NONE OF THEM HAD THE OFFENSIVE ABILITY THAT KLITCHOOSKI HAS. I THINK IT WILL COME DOWN TO WHETHER OR NOT LEWIS GIVES HIM A CHANCE TO LAND PUNCHES.

SCOTT-ATLANTA- WITH THAT NAME YOU MUST BE A JIM ROME FAN. I LISTEN TO THE JUNGLE EVERY DAY. HE COVERS BOXING AS MUCH AS ANY OTHER SPORT. LAST WEEK HE INTERVIEWED LEWIS AND DE LA HOYA, WHO WANTS REVENGE ON MOSELY BAD!
ANYWAY THANKS FOR THE WRITE UP. THATS WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR. AND I WOULD BE HONORED TO RUN WITH THE PACK, BUT I'M NOT SURE HOW. HELP ME OUT.

LIKE GW, I TOO WILL BE LOOKING HARD AT THE UPCOMING FIGHTS AND SHOULD HAVE A WRITE UP IN A FEW DAYS.

on lennox and vitali

on lennox and vitali

after lennox`s chin betrayed him vs rahmann and oliver mccall i wouldn`t lay over 5-1 vs a very big guy with some talent,a jab of his own and a big right hand....

badjab has a point with taking a small wager on klitschko by ko and the under.....i`m looking at them both....

kinda looking at diego corrales vs damian fuller under 8 at -135....fuller is a decent lefty who may try and box corrales.....but,lovemore n`dou had fuller down twice in their fight before the bout was stopped due to a cut...n`dou is a solid fighter...but he`s not chico corrales.....and this is on espn and in corrales` hometown of sacramento....i have to think he will want to put on a solid show on national t.v......other than the mayweather debacle, corrales has been a beast....

i bet it....i`ll get back on this one if i think it`s strong enough to reccommend to anyone else.......

also looking at under 7.5 in the omar sheika and scott pemberton bout...........not much b.s.ing by either guy...they come to fight....looks to be a war....in my opinion, probably short and brutal....sheika cuts and breaks up....probably a phonebooth fight....i have to look a little farther,though.....both are tough guys and don`t tend to fold.....not sure of the venue either....i`ll get back on this one also....

still looking for that "stretch out" wager now that toney/hopkins looks to be off......

I dont think any of these tall guys were

Vitali Klitschko (32-1, 31 KOs} This guy can bang hard. If he gets in a shot on Lewis, Lewis may be counting sheep.

the really dirty thing is that Lewis has been ducking Vitali for a few years now. So he gets a cancellation and what better time to fight the brute Klit when he has only ten days to prepare. Lewis camp did this on purpose and knew Vitalli would have no choice but to accept.

Boxing behind the scenes is dirty pool without a filter.

I really dont care for Lewis and his big mouth and attitude, would love to see him on his ass again in a KO.

GOOD JOB HITTING THE CORRALES UNDER EARLY. OLYMPIC NOW HAS IT AT -162, AND DIEGO WENT FROM -800 TO -1025!

THE ONLY THING THAT BOTHERS ME ABOUT THE UNDER IS DIEGO'S COMPETITION SINCE THE MAYWEATHER FIGHT. THE THREE FIGHTERS HE HAS FACED HAVE A COMBINED RECORD OF 56-26. FULLER IS 21-3, SO THIS IS A SMALL STEP UP.

THAT SAID, IF DIEGO FIGHTS LIKE HE DID AGAINST ANGEL MANFREDDY (BEFORE HIS PRISON TERM). THIS WILL BE A SHORT NIGHT.

this is not a" bag shot".........fuller is a runner and a lefty to boot...i expect him to be on his bicycle all night.....

but,he`s not mayweather....as we saw, mayweather had more than enough pop to keep corrales honest....something that fuller doesn`t have...and corrales is a full 5 inches taller, and has a major reach advantage.....some things i can never get a line on are things like ring size....if i knew that this was a relatively small ring,i`d up my wager......because this is relatively close to corrales` sacramento home,i expect him to have whatever advantages are available to the promoter(whom i believe will be looking out for corrales)......fuller,from detroit michigan, has fought only 3 times away from his home state...and lost 2 of them....

but, hearing that lovemore n`dou had fuller down twice encouraged me to take a flyer here...and at -135,i thought it had some value....i can`t get smoked like one of those 3-1 wagers...

i liked most of the plays you posted in your thread..especially the smaller guys in japan.....i just am not real big on laying 3-1 on anything....you have to work to hard to get back if you hit a bump or 2.....

but,as i said, your wagers look sharp...i expect you to turn a profit on them if nothing out of the ordinary happens(i.e. cuts,d.q`s etc.)....

...if i get bold,i may play the overs on the little asian fighters....although,niida has been off since 2001(supposedly retired)....be careful there....long layoffs are dangerous.....i learned that with a lazy eric harding....

best of luck....keep posting...

Memories

6 years ago seems like yesterday, I was young dumb and full of cum back then, now I'm just dumb

Ya Scottie, I was new to the site and needed some help with the avatar

Looks like my boxing revolution was a complete success, alot of money has been made since this post. We lost fletcher somewhere along the way, haven't heard from him in years

Anyway, congrats and thanks to all who made the boxing end of this forum a profitable place for the last 6 years. How 'bout 6 more...
