I didn't watch much of the game. I did see where, at one point, Duke shot 29 FT's compared to Miami shooting 10, but like I say, I didn't watch it and try to only use that stat if I know its relevant.

The thing I hate is that no one says anything if Coach K does it. Maybe he's trying to send a message, or maybe he's just not messing around with a lead by keeping starters in. But, if other coaches did it, or if other teams had people shooting 3's with under a minute up by that much....they call it classless.

I don't have a problem with running up the score in most cases. I mean, there is a shot clock in basketball. But, the perception is that others run it up while Coach K does it for other reasons.

Every Duke game that I have watched this year (about 10) has ended with all of the starters in the game usually with huge leads. My wife even commented on it a few weeks ago. I'm not taking away from the team, but it does seem as if Coach K is rubbing it in a bit.

considering how texas played yesterday and how they have lost to duke by an average of about 35 plus points the past 2 times they have played, barnes could learn something from the duke coaches. it is easy to see why daniel gibson and sheldon williams wanted to come the great state of nc to play basketball . guess they weren't good enough to be recruited by texas. tucker wasn't smart enough to get into any of the schools here.

Great responses Lowell, football doesn't count, basketball does, but only within the last 20 years, ya sport, those previous 16 World titles don't count because you say so?
