[h=1]Cincinnati TV station calls for boycott of Bengals after team drafts Joe Mixon[/h]
The most controversial player in the NFL Draft is already causing controversy in Cincinnati.
The ABC affiliate in the city, which could potentially be airing an NFL wild-card playoff game this season, is calling for a boycott of the Bengalsfollowing the team's selection of Joe Mixon during the second round of theNFL Draft on Friday.
"Enough is enough, Bengals. We can excuse another season without winning a playoff game. We can't excuse drafting a player like Joe Mixon," the station wrote in an editorial. "Instead of buying a Bengals ticket this year, take the $50 or more you would have spent on that ticket and donate the money to a nonprofit that works to prevent violence against women."

What a fake outrage. This is the country of second chances. He paid his dues when he played at OU by having to sit out a full year. I hope he is successful and gets to prove himself even though he made a huge mistake.

How did he pay his dues?

He did not get in any trouble bc he played football for Oklahoma.

Then after he had paid his dues as you say he threatened a a parking lot attendant and drove his car towards them to intimidate.

Paid his dues xstop

Just like everything else you spout, you have no idea what you are talking about.

You are not outraged by someone who did what he did, then that says more about the kind of person you are.

Of course it is beyond terrible what he did!!

I am glad that the Giants stayed away from him....

However the Bengals have the right to draft him & the fans & the media have the right to criticize them & not attend or watch any of their games....

He gave her a pretty good shot too! He should have been banned from College Football in my opinion.

I really sickens me when men beat women & I certainly can understand your feeling on this, Stevie....Just hope this young man can move on & become a positive role model for others....

Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
Boycott the entire NFL

Boycott the entire NFL

They don't give 2 shits about the public.....

just keep buying their $150 jerseys, purchasing stub hub over-priced tix to see their watered down product while eating $7.00 hot dogs....:popcorn2

Mixon would as many others in the leagues, would merely be mug shots at the post office if not for the fact they can play a sport that networks throw billions at....

Americans would have to face a harsh reality if there were no TV sports...
