Something doesn't give, if you can save that much by joining their "club", over having insurance? Where is the profit for them?

I was thinking the same thing about a $0 deductible plan that also had low premiums.

I believe this is just with generic drugs. Walmart also deals in hugh amounts buying directly from the manufacturer thereby cutting out the distributor and saving money. They may lose on some but more than make up the difference on others.

I know right ... one of the most laid back peeps in the world and I take 2 blood pressure meds

I dont know how they give such big savings ... maybe from ripping off the insurance companies on the other orders ... my diabetes medicine is up for refill later this week ... I will post a pic of the jar and the receipt so you dont think I am lying ... I have no need to lie anyway and was just trying to help from the start

but since you use AOL it may still be in transit :142smilie

You got me all wrong. I don't think you are lying at all! I just want to know what the scoop is? I pay big premiums to get my "discount". If I can do what you are doing, and it save me bucks......I WANNA DO IT!

after I lost my job, when I went to get one of my script filled it was gonna be like $35 ... so I asked them if there was anything I could do to lower my price until I got new coverage

they told me I could buy a Walgreens prescription card for one time fee of $10 and my refill would then be $10 ... and if I get my Dr to change my scripts to 90 day refills it would be 3 months for price of 2 ... so it was a no brainer to save $15 on the spot and got my Dr to change my future refills to 90 days

havent figured it all up yet but will probably save me $600 -1000 this year ... and your prescriptions count towards you frequent purchase points that you can cash in on other store purchases ... I will look at next receipt to see the yearly savings if listed

PLUS Walgreens is less than 2 minutes from my house :0074

Boys........

This may sound stupid but if the monies were overpaid to Insurance Co.'s why not have them give back to IRS and have people who were not eligible to receive PTC payback the Insurance Co. for their coverage?

Probably b/c it was a way for the Government to pay back BIG campaign donations not agents???
