Walgreens, CVS, Kroger, all of them, you need their stupid savings card or you get ripped. I get my prescriptions at CVS because I found them to be cheapest for mine. If you're a member of AAA check out their prescription discounts because they save me over $80 a month.

I too use CVS and XpressScripts (formerly Medco) for my prescriptions. I don't know about everybody else but I have seen a substantial increase in the generic rates recently. However, some of my regular prescriptions which were quite expensive they made generics for so I really can't complain.

I used to pay $10 for prescriptions. Now I pay the full amount until that $5000 a year deductible is met. Fuckers.

What pisses me off the most is co-pays. I have pretty good insurance with a Cigna PPO. Over a five year period I have seen my co-pay for doctor visits jump from $20 to $50. WTF is with that, laughable.....

Very fortunate to work for a company that pays 90% of the health care costs, and that is for all employees no matter the status. I pay 140.00 a month for full medical, dental and optical. When I retire I am going to have to rely on VA medical :scared

Oh bullshit and the getting older. With the exception of a minor back surgery in 2005 I've had great health. I'm 43. You can't tell me you are OK with your current health coverage.

I've never had any surgery, no hospital stays, nothing but a yearly visit. The older you get the higher it gets and the less you get for your money. I agree, it's ridiculous and I have been bitching about it for years and years. And I really started bitching about it when I was your age. I pretty much gave up.

I guess I don't know your "situation", and what the prescription card is.

I was just talking about Walgreens in general. If a person goes there off the street, they are getting robbed blind, in most cases.

Is that card an insurance program they offer? It might be something I would look into, if that were the case.

its a one time fee of $10 to enroll then the savings were incredible ... my blood pressure med used to be $35 month with insurance ... now its $20 for 90 day supply with their card ... thats $340 a year for just that one ... and I take 4 monthly

High blood pressure? You? Get the fuck out!

Something doesn't give, if you can save that much by joining their "club", over having insurance? Where is the profit for them?
