That's the concern but I think we'll be ok. I've seen Valpo 5-6 times this year and they are not much and the Horizon seems down in general. Sure they beat a slumping Cleve St team but then they got crushed by Youngstown. The thing about Valpo is that they always seem to get a lot of home cooking. Check out their results at home and see how many games that they have won while being out FG'd. It's something else when you play there. They are well coached and hustle and play hard which are their greatest assets. I'll give them some credit for that

I love me some Shaka but not tonight. We blew it in OT against them but thought we were the better team. Their guards have quick hands and they D up very well. Offensively they are somewhat challenged though. I hope they win but not by 6

1-4 (-6.8) Friday, record updated. Not the start I was looking for but still confident.

Tons of movement on many games today from what was up at the first couple of bumps yesterday. I like almost all of the MAC east teams to go over based on the plodding style of play by their western foes in crossover games. Due to this their recent numbers are somewhat distorted. Hell, I even like a couple of teams from the west to go over as well.

The key is to limit ORU's Morrison and make somebody else beat them. They are well aware of this and will probably use Quincy Diggs on him. The Zips have an advantage in the paint here but this is still somewhat of a homer call. Keeping this small and we'll see whats up at the half.

Didn't happen. There were two possible scenarios that I thought would bode well for the 2nd half play. Neither happened so I tossed away my original plays on this game that were winners.

I'm off to a watch party for the Zips, but two more 2 pm plays that I like before I take off.

Not one of my better days but I'm tipsy now which makes it more tolerable for the moment. I know it sounds simplistic but the Zips just couldn't shoot it today. Missed dunks, missed layups and 4 for 21 from the arc from a team that usually knocks em down. Wide open looks too..... Not happy about that, cost me a lot of coin on the total
