One of the most enjoyable weekends of the year for a guy that pretty much only plays the mid -majors.

Kent/Drex under 124'
Va Com/ Shockers under 141

One unit each

1-1 Friday

Saturday plays, for starters:

Ga Mason -3 ( 10 units) just my 3rd of the season.
Evansville +7 (3 units)

More later, and do not be afraid to go with the road team in the bracket busters. There is more than a couple of reasons to go with the visitors but the biggest is that the officials come in from the visitors conference. I'll bet that many of you did not know that !

Hey Fcp.

Take a good hard look at Mississippi State and Colorado State.

At first glance these look really good.

Good luck my friend.:toast:

OH GREAT !

OH GREAT !

By game time your call will have moved the # to 6. :scared :scared I went to UNI yesterday. There is a bit of desperation about the next couple weeks. The ONLY possibility of UNI getting there today is A) Going off on 3's like the other nite AND Mason not being focused because of all the energy they put into J Madison and VCU games.

That said-----I am all over George Mason

I loved VCU last nite. A team that hasn't lost 3 in a row in 5 years getting 8 from a tired team that has lost 3 of their last 6 at home. I didn't understand that and ALMOST talked myself out of taking VCU. One giant step to a great weekend.

"Road teams of plus 5 points to minus 5 points went 11 and 4 for +$660 "

Would like to confirm if this accurate. There are about twice the amount of games this year that fall into this categorie. Any help appreciated

FWIW: Like I said, that post with the 2010 figures was the result of a search and I can not guarantee that it is 100% correct. I know that I did pretty well with the dogs that I played but I have to question the statement that overall the dogs went 31-16. So I'm going to pull that post as I certainly don't want to mislead anybody.

I believe that all the mids are invited and that coaches have to right to pull their teams from the BB's. For example, Butler is playing a conference game today against UIC.

Appreciate the comments.

I believe Miami +10 is the best of the early plays today. They have played well since Ballard went down last month, and I just can't see that Dolly Madison should be laying double digits against too many teams...

FCP, What do you think of Miami OH +9.5?

I spent probably more time than I should have on this game only to come up with a pass.

On one hand, I give dogs a strong preference in the BB games. On the other hand, I think that the MAC is to be faded against the stronger conferences like the Colonial and MVC. We saw a good example of that when Drexel took down the MAC's top team last night.

Also to be considered is that Miami is off a huge conference OT victory against Kent which kept them in the Eastern division title chase. This is a meaningless game for the Redhawks today so I have to question their readiness.

These two have a common opponent in Kent St. James Madison defeated Kent St easily at Kent this season. So to me almost all things point to James Madison today but I'm not going to lay that many points.

Follow the MAC enough to know that Charlie Coles has covered large spreads over the years pretty well. Plus, the Miami team can actually score. I might go after the 1H +5 and go from there. I watched the BG-Akron game Tuesday night. Akron played very well. Like them today at home as well.

you guys are correct, Miami has played surprisingly well since Ballard went down. They remind me of the old cardiac kids because they have made several improbable late comebacks after falling well behind early. I do hope that they win today.

Niagara -1' ( 2 units)
Youngstown State -2 First half ( one unit)
