Appears Dombrow wants a fresh, younger manager, Ausmus was a constant behind the dish and got very good results as a defensive guy over his long ML career, he's been an advisor AGM for a couple of years and good evaluator of players, but I'm wondering why Dombrow would go for someone with no prior managing experience, other than managing behind the plate.
Doubtful that Ausmus keeps many of the coaches on Jimmy's ol' staff as well. Perhaps a house cleaning off-season, something that Dombrow has done in the past with the Marlins coming?

Team needs to resign Benoit and bring in another bat to protect Prince when he gets into post-season and for when Miggy gets banged up and possibly a lefthanded starting pitcher. Cole Hamels, Cliff Lee both names going around the hot stove already!!
