Bleed are u feeling well? They might have the worst 2ndary in the league. They are terrible. U take away that good D line and they would look embarrassing each and every game. They stink now and all they have to do is cover their man for three seconds if that because of hat great DLine.

I am feeling well and I admit that they are not the greatest secondary but they are in the middle of the pack.. They only allow 215 yards per game passing which is 18th in the league. Granted they do have a real good pass rush, but teams attempt to pass the ball against the Vikes because they know they can't run. I bet the Vikes are in top 8 on yardage given up per attempt. Furthermore, the coaching makes the secondary play off whcih at times is stupid. Even look at the playoff game.. Running backs and tight ends killed them. A secondary with Antroine Winfield in it can not be the worst.

what secondary is good w/out a pash rush? none. vikings D is fine all the way around. getting man in the mddle back will help a bunch. corners need to play tight on receivers for best results. winfield is a playmaker and griffin is one of the most physical corners in the league;period. sharper is on his last legs i believe. let's give rosenthal a chance. he may pan out. booty is a bum. will never see the field. right side of the line is horrible. can't believe they didn't address that need. herrerra is bad and cook is the worst tackle in the league.

got to wonder how much orlando has in his tank. didn't see how much he signed for but DAMN it would have been nice to get him. i absolutely dread going into this season w/ our right side in the shape it's in. petterson as great as he is does so much on his own. he'll have so many carries for 2 yards and then bust a big one when he has a tiny opening.

Guys are wide open with the leagues best pass rush.:shrug: Take away that rush and they are flat out awful. I don't care what the stats say. Just watch a game and u see guys running open all over the place. Thank god for that pass rush or each game would get embarrassing. Back in the day when Philly had Jerrome Brown and Reggie White these two were like beast getting to the quarterback. They made the corners into pro bowl players. Once in the pro bowl those corners got shredded like the average players they were. A great pass rush makes an average corner into a good corner. A good corner into a great corner. Vikings backs can't hold their guys for more then two seconds before they are open. Pitiful would be a kind word for them.

guess we'll agree to disagree. imagine that.ha winfield,while not a great cover guy,is adequate and the best open field tackling corner in the game. he makes plays. griffin is best suited playing against the bigger receivers. he is very physical and will knock your block off. really came on at the end of the year. took several of the best receivers in the league out of the game last year. i can't imagine playing corner in the nfl. guys flying at you running 4.2 forties and they know where they are going and you don't. and qb's throwing lasers at them. really tough job.
