4 games (all will be upheld due to CBA), he'll serve 1, maybe 2 games at most, the other penalties will stick, loss of 1st round pick, 4th round pick in 2017 and $1,000,000 fine.

Those comparing suspensions for PED and domestic abuse, those are not comparable. Why? Defamation of the NFL which is a multi billion dollar business and someone will take the heat for what happened besides the equipment managers. I'm surprised Bellichick hasn't gotten any thing just yet.

Ray Rice missed the entire season in 2015, not 2 games! Peterson missed 15 games, not 2 or 4 games. Hardy missed the entire season. Were those suspensions? No, but they missed basically the entire season, that itself is worse than a 2-4 game suspension. All but Rice got paid!

A portion of Peter King's article in today's Sports Illustrated....

. As Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston pointed out Sunday, there have been two recent violations regarding fair play with footballs. One happened last November, when TV cameras at the Minnesota-Carolina game in frigid Minneapolis caught footballs being warmed up by sideline heaters. That?s a rules violation, but the teams were simply warned not to do it again. In 2012, the Chargers were found to be using towels with stickum on the sidelines, presumably for players to be able to grip the footballs better. The team was fined $25,000. Is the presumption that Brady was using footballs about 1 pound per square inch under the minimum limit worth a multigame suspension compared to the other two violations? The other two violations were proven. This one is ?more probable than not,? according to the Wells report.

Exactly what I've been saying all along. It's all because of who it is.

I will be surprised if someone doesn't say the other two instances aren't the same thing.

Total fucking joke, he should have been suspended for the year. The draft picks and the fine is expected. I suppose when Kraft and Goodell are such good buddies anything goes. Ridiculous....

Are you being serious? So you think he deserves a year with no proof of doctoring balls but the two other teams that were physically caught red handed doctoring the balls during a game to gain a competitive edge get absolutely nothing? You think that's fair and equitable and you think he should get more?
Why do you feel that way knowing full well the two other teams are actually guilty?

I don't know how anyone can be a fan of that cheating organization. Over and over they try shit. NFL took it easy on them.

I am pretty sure that there will be some kind of compromise fine....

Arbitrators have been ruling against the NFL on previous cases so I think that Kraft, being the loyal owner that he is & Goodell come up with some kind of solution....

I'm so tired of hearing about this under-inflated testicle-gate BS. I think I had an opinion at one time, but now I don't give shit anymore. Too much media attention. Too many whiners on either side. The NFL its decision-makers are shady as hell. Goodell is a punk. Fuck Brady.
That's my opinion as a Jets fan :0008
Not that anyone was asking :mj07:

Yes, I'm serious. He should get a year timeout. Don't tell me Brady didn't know about it. Also, Pats have a history of cheating. Did you see the video I posted of Shannon Sharpe commenting on the matter? Brady knew about it, that's crystal clear.

If there are other teams doing it, they should get equal punishment. I saw something about Brees, Payton, and the Saints getting suspensions this morning. If they are guilty, they should be suspended as well.

I'm convinced the whole Pats organization knew about this.

Seems a tad much to me. But what about the Colts balls. They were under inflated also. Just seems like the usual NFL mess. There is no integrity to the game anyway. As a fan I am more worried about replacing Revis ( Tampering ) than Brady for 4 games.

Tom Brady has no history of cheating. He is not the New England Patriots. He had nothing to do with Spying. No I didn't see the video and last I checked Shannon Sharpe isn't an authority on anything.
