BRAVES/DODGERS Under 7.5 -120 - Runs are usually at a premium when these two pitching-oriented organizations get together. These clubs have met 20 times since the 2000 season, and the Under is 10-5-5, 66.7% in those games, with the 9 meetings here in Los Angeles averaging just a combined 6.4 runs per game. Nomo has been very consistent this season, with 6 Quality Starts out of 8 total starts. He has a 3.16 ERA and a fine 1.25 ratio to this point, and the Under is 6-2 in all of his starts. He is coming off of possibly his best start of the season, as he allowed 1 run and only 3 hits in 7.1 innings at New York last Wednesday. Reynolds is recovering from shoulder surgery, but he has still managed 3 Quality Starts out of 5 starts. After a couple of shaky outings, Reynolds appeared to get back on track in his last start vs. Colorado, allowing just 2 runs and 6 hits in 6.1 innings. He pitched very well in his last 3 starts vs. Los Angeles as a member of the Astros, posting a 3.15 ERA over those outings while allowing 19 hits in 20 innings. He will be facing a Dodgers lineup that is hitting a modest .248 vs. right-handed pitching this season.

Reynolds

Reynolds

He was very good in his first two starts but since then he has been getting rocked. Colorado although they only scored 2 runs hit him pretty hard. There were quite a few line outs the Rockies could have easily scored a lot more runs against him. The Braves have been scoring quite a few runs lately. I follow your post and normally agree with them. I would be very leary of taking Reynolds or the under.
