FYI...Hudson has had two close deaths happen to him on Sunday as his grandmother just passed away and he was a very close friend and college teammate of Hancock from STL that just died, so he's going to be pretty emotional today I assume. Either he'll pitch very well or be sidetracked and get lit up. I'm bank'n he pitches well today! ATL should have no problem getting enough runs. GL!

Ya...that's gotta be the reason for the line drop. Everyone expecting him to be sidetracked with the distractions. Very tough to deal with close deaths, but I feel he steps up and uses it to his advantage tonight and pitching another solid game. Philly has been hot though.....

Jon Lieber (1-0, 3.21 ERA), who began the season in the bullpen, gets the start for the Phillies. The righthander has pitched well in his two starts, going 1-0 and allowing just two runs in 11 2/3 innings. In six career starts at Turner Field, Lieber is 4-2 with a 3.18 ERA.
