Between The Hedges
Top 5 in almost every major offensive category in the NL, first in Hr's and I would imagine toward the bottom in average given they lead the league in K's. Regardless if you have a great offense or not, you are going to rack up a lot of wins when you have a team ERA of 3.23. So I guess in short I would say they have had excellent pitching to go with well above average offense(K's notwithstanding). Make no mistake though, given the number of times they strikeout, they will be fortunate to advance very far in the playoffs when they start seeing everyones top 3 pitchers and a 3 man rotation. I have thrown the remote a few times this year watching them so I feel your pain:facepalm:

The Nationals will over take the Braves in the NL East IMO

Seems like everyone is over-looking the Phillies?!!? NOT ME!!!

I think Philadelphia has a shot more so than Washington. Will give the edge to Washington as far as starting pitching goes but Strasburg won't last much past the All Star break. Hitting is where the Phillies have a HUGE advantage over the Nats. Good chance the Braves will fuck up & the Phillies surprise a lot of folks by winning the NL East.:yup

 the Nats are on the move, a 52-56 record and 11 games out...... If the Braves go 27-27 last 54 games the Nats have to finish 38-6 to tie them.....:nono: :violin:
