LeBron ran his arse out of town:mj07:

The guy is overrated anyway. It's as if he has skillets for hands.....

I know he isn't a top star receiver, but it might make the Jets a better team as Sanchez has another person to throw to. I already think they're pretty good this year.

excellent move by the jets....change of scenery should help edwards` confidence.....

the browns get chancey stuckey,a back-up linebacker and a couple undisclosed picks.....

the browns are a legit train-wreck.....

gw....

a change of scenery to a place that has more clubs than what cleve. has will cause edwards to get into more trouble....this guy is going to need a babysitter....

anyway i am so glad that the giants did not make this trade....

One of two posts in this thread that I think is right on the money. He may be good for a short while with the Jets but he will crash and burn quickly. He has poor concentration skills and poor hands. Not a good combination for a receiver in the National Football League.

I see him play a lot as the Browns are on every week here. There is something very wrong with this guy. He can make the great catch but he consistantly drops balls that a 10 yr old kid could catch. Somewhere between his brain and his hands, there is a fork in the road. He has, beyond any doubt, the poorest concentration of any receiver that I have ever watched.

I am a closet Jets fan:wall: and I'm not getting too excited over this one. We shall see.

don`t know what the long term ramifications will be  ..i`m not nostradamus...

.....but i do know what it`s like having a talented young qb with limited options in the passing game(see joe flacco and the ravens` loss last week in new england)....it can cost you games...

i think the jets were smart to take chance on edwards....they didn`t give up much....

anybody that followed their game last week vs n.o. knows that n.o. was fairly lucky to walk away with a win(2 defensive td`s)....a little more help in the passing game will be huge for sanchez and the jets,imo...

i sure wish that the ravens had made the "mistake" of getting brandon marshall in the off season....edwards is no marshall...but he`s light years better than mark clayton...or stuckey...

some coaches can handle these problem children...belichick is a case in point.....and i`m sure rex ryan(from his time in b`more) is that kind of guy...

we`ll see...receiver seemed to be a real problem for the jets...i give them credit for attempting to rectify the situation and give their young qb some help...

it seems flacco won`t be getting any this season...
