I played hakkinen in some matchups and I was wondering if certain or all books have a stipulation that each driver must complete one lap for their to be ACTION on the matchup. I;m a newcomer to the F1 Betting business so any help would be appreciated.

Spits, you are bringing a very good question because the same thing happened to me in nascar at the beginning of the year. You can ask to Big tease and Jack. They sure remember that! I took Hakkinen and i lost. In nascar i had a match up again dale earnhart jr and he crashed BEFORE the first lap. Nothing to say that i was please 'cause i though i had a winner! WRONG!!!! My offshore on that time was ESB and they NEVER want to pay me 'cause they told me Vegas didn't put it as a winner because the racer didn't have one lap and put it as a no action. I was quite upset and brought that question on this board. Big Tease told me he has been paid (or knew people who has been paid) and Jack told me it was AT THE DISCRETION OF THE BOOKS! Despite my arguing with ESB, they told me NO ACTION and that's it! I was so mad at them (their customer service suck!) i close my account there. Now, in F1, probably they don,t have that rule (about one lap but whatever, i'm sure any books now decide to not pay for any match ups if a racer is out before the first lap. You lose in both way so that suck...

I even didn't check this when Hakkinen was out 'cause i knew i was cooked...

If anybody know a place where they have put this as a no action please tell me!

Spits, the thing is, when you choose a match up, cross your finger for the first lap!!!

I just want to express my appreciation to all the posters here. This is the second week that I have pretty much missed the plays. I think that I played one match up last week.. Barrichello.. and won.

I am so totally flabbergasted at how the picks have beeen going in here.. and Nascar and golf that I really have to back up and re evaluate what I have been doing.

I have beating my head against the wall for about six weeks in college and pro basketball. Stressing myself out and barely breaking even ..if that.

Then today Stanley's picks came in on golf. I just played his and Ian's picks and matchups and am giddy with the excitement of it all.

Thanks Stanley!

And I am considering blowing off baseball!???

I can't believe I'm even thinking that. I must be sick!

Love this stuff!

Aussie abroad
for F1 races, the more common stipulation is if the driver takes part in the warmup lap, then all bets are action. This will cover most bookies in Australia & the UK, the Caribbean ones will tend to rule more along NASCAR lines I would imagine.
