3 REASON WHY THE STEELERS WILL WIN

1) Ben Roethlisberger ? Roethlisberger was only a shell of himself during his return last week against the Browns and was pretty darn good. Roethlisberger lit up the Miami secondary last year and could very well do the same this year.

2) James Harrison ? You better believe that James Harrison and Co. on the defensive side of the ball have a chip on their shoulder after what has transpired over the past week. That's not good for the Dolphins.

3) Special teams ? It was only a few weeks back that the Dolphins' special teams were torched by the Patriots so much so that the it got the special teams coach fired. The Steelers already have one kick return this season for a touchdown.

3 REASONS WHY THE STEELERS WILL LOSE

1) The wildcat ? Even though the Dolphins have gone away from the wildcat in recent weeks including not running it against the Packers last week. The offense can return to it at any time and it could be very difficult to slow down.

2) Cameron Wake ? The former Penn Stater spent time in the CFL, but has caught on quickly with the Dolphins. Wake has six sacks from his outside linebacker position and is on pace for 19, which would be a franchise record.

3) Brandon Marshall ? After a relatively slow start, Marshall has registered more than 100 yards with 10 catches in two of his past three games. Marshall was targeted 17 times against the Packers last week and also 17 in a Week 3 game.

Sanders looks to build off Browns game



After making his first NFL catches last week, rookie wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is looking to build on that performance today against the Dolphins.

Sanders is again expected to serve as the Steelers' No. 4 wide receiver and kickoff returner in the 1 p.m. game.

He and Antonio Brown have been battling for that role on a weekly basis.

Brown had it for three consecutive weeks before Sanders wrested it from him prior to the Steelers' game against the Browns

"You've got to work for it," Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said. "He's earned it."

Sanders had two catches for 37 yards in the Steelers' 28-10 win last Sunday. Both of his receptions resulted in first downs.

"This week I'm not as nervous because I caught my first pass and I'm starting to grow into this offense and understand it," Sanders said.




Back in black

The Dolphins, as the Buccaneers did last month, have opted to wear their white jerseys today at Sun Life Stadium.

That means the Steelers will be in black on a day when temperatures are forecast to be in the mid 80s.

Unlike in Tampa Bay, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has opted against dressing six defensive linemen against the Dolphins.

The Steelers only have five healthy linemen with starting defensive end Brett Keisel out because of a hamstring injury.

They could have signed defensive tackle Steve McLendon from the practice squad ? he has played two games this season ? but Tomlin said last week that conditioning isn't as much of a factor now as it is in September.
