The Austin Regional has been moved to Cameron Indoor Stadium Durham, NC

A press release from the NCAA noted that due to the unfairness in Charolette this weekend with UNC fans rooting against Duke, the Austin regionals will be shifted to Durham. The spokesperson also noted that with all the upsets and the closeness of the Mississippi State game it was in the best interst of Duke and all it's fans to move the regional. He also mentioned that with Dookie V recovering from surgery Austin would be a tough trip, while Durham wont be a problem. In addition to the shift in locale, the officials for the weekend have been announced: Bobby Hurley, Jayson Williams, Shane Battier.

He continued, Tom Izzo shouldn't have a problem with the shift as he is familiar with Durham having played a game there this year. The NCAA will also experiment with a new rule in Durham only, the team wearing white will begin the game in the 1-1. "We look forward to an outstanding weekend in Durham and think the neutral court, new rules, and officiating should make for some exciting games....go duke...i mean good luck to all"

I get a kick out of Packer throwing in his occasional "that was a foul on Duke .......official missesd the call"...........but it seems to always be at a point in the game when Duke is up by 10 or it doesnt hurt Duke. You sure dont hear nuch when the score is tied at 55-55 with 3 minutes in the game and a call against Duke in that situation may mean the game.
