The reason he got fired wasn't because they were losing ballgames 3-12 but because they also lost the fight 0-1.
We're midway thru April and they've already lost 6 one-run games. They sound like a great run line dog.
This guy really had nothing to work with. He was in a lose lose situation. Mr.Lopes will be in the bigs coaching again .

He had plenty to work with, as did Garner. These guys can't coach, period. You need to motivate, and the Brewers have looked like pure shit all season. They play like they are late for a plane, or have just finished tokin' a fattie!
They need an ass kicking, and a guy who will deliver it. At least Bud Selig had the nuts to pull the plug before the season was over! That might be a start. Now, he needs to find a guy who can mold a winner. (I have not heard if they have a guy, yet.)
Too bad it won't help them beat the Cards this weekend.......

He was in the third year of his contract, so it's not like he just showed up. How long do you give a guy?
As for them having "nobody", or "no talent" on that team, are yoiu serious?

Now, I will grant you that some of these pitchers are not playing up here at present time, but they had a decent staff last season, and pitchers can't help you win when your team scores 4 runs in an entire series!
The Brewers have a ton of pop in their bats, and it is just not showing. They have guys comiting boneheaded plays, and errors, like there is no tomorrow!
These guys have plenty of ability, and the brewers better find someone to harness their talent.

You are the home town guy there so I really can't sit here and argue with you. I am sure you have a much better read than myself. What is the rumor of his replacement?
Not only were the Brewers losing, but there weren't many fannies in the seats in Bud's big new stadium. That has got to be embarrasing to him with his push for new stadiums. And he wants to eliminate the Twins?
