SAN DIEGO PADRES -115 ? The Brewers have taken the first 2 games of this series, but it may be a lot to ask for a team that is still just 7-19 away from home to sweep a series on the road. Brett Tomko appears to be in the midst of a career year for the Padres. Although he is just 3-4, he had a fine ERA of 3.42 and a sparkling WHIP of 1.23, as the league is batting just .239 against him. In his last start, he held a potent Colorado lineup to only 1 earned run and 4 hits in 8 innings. Rusch has been terrible on the road this season, where he is 1-3 with a high 5.87 ERA and a poor WHIP of 1.57. He also failed to last 3 innings the last time he faced San Diego, allowing 4 earned runs on 7 hits and 4 walks in 2.2 innings.
