hedgehog, thank you for posting this. i've been waiting. because, once again, all this does is prove everything you've been saying parroting from fox news is WRONG. why would a department of justice that's "weaponized against republicans" charge a democrat? and did you notice how democrats immediately responded with "he needs to step down." no "let's wait and see", no "he's innocent until proven guilty", no "IT'S A WITCH HUNT!!!" just a lot of "these charges are very credible and, for the good of his constituents, he needs to step down."
yes, lots of politicians (from both sides of the aisle) are corrupt. and when they are caught, dems immediately demand they resign. republicans just circle the wagons and say it's a hoax.
all this case does is, once again, prove which party overall has integrity. which party actually believes in "law and order."
and, for fuck's sake, i know i keep needing to repeat this... I'M NOT A DEMOCRAT. but it's clear which party is currently the only real choice if we care about this democracy. and until voters who insist on only voting republican because, well, the candidate is a republican, demand better of their candidates, it's just going to keep going down the drain.
