seriously...i`m not a huge golf fan...but i also enjoy the british open....seems more real...the weather is a factor(constantly overcast and rainy)....the course looks a bit ragged in spots.....hilly...rough.....

it sort of reminds me of "the hound of the baskervilles"...looks like it`s being held on the moors....

and i think that`s cool....all the perfectly manicured courses become redundant....this is more of a challenge...

i agree...

Agree with all here, is fun to watch. Sunday round I finish inventory from Saturday night each year and collapse on the sofa and catch the final nine holes. Has been a tradition for the past 10 years.

Tom Watson throws up a 1 on number 6. :0003

Plus he wiil make the cut again at 60+ years old. Level par is what I see the winner at and he is right there. This course will show it's teeth if the wind howls like it is supposed to this weekend. Someone like Watson with all the experience could be a factor. Lehman and the Mechanic are hanging around as well. Don't jump on the young gun band wagon yet.

Stewart Cink handled his victory with respect to Tom Watson. Very classy.

Absolutely agree. I have a friend in Atl. who plays occasionally with Cink at Sugarloaf, says he's never met a nicer guy. Last time out , my buddy had a career round of 77, Cink shot 64. :scared

Oh mummy. The beast is showing it's teeth. If someone shoots under par today just hand them the trophy. This looks like what I play in most of time during the winter and spring.

That over 276.5 looks golden.

My prop is gonna be devine in about 7 hours.
