Just read that the broncos are probably gonna switch QBs after thursdays game and go with jay cutler.Dont know how reliable this info is(who knows with shanahan) but it could affect game with chiefs in some way.Cutler has big time arm so wouldnt be afraid to back him if he does get the job but would be be leary of backing a "lame duck"Qb in plummer if this is true.Buyer beware so to speak

It's inevitable that Cutler is getting the job...just a matter of when. Plummer is giving no one on that team any reason to NOT switch QB's. Maybe a solid performance and a win at KC will do something, but he's had that pressure on him the last few weeks and he's been terrible.....DEN will need to run well to win at KC bottom line. Seemed to me last week when they were up 24-7 Shannahan still insisted on throwing the ball...no clue what he was thinking there.

But its an excellent point. You don't announce that a change is coming then leave the guy out there. Either you say nothing.....and make your mind up, this is it.....unless he gets hot. Or you come right out and bench him.

I wonder if this could be part of why the line in this game is all over the place.

hmmmmm

I heard the guys on hbo and I think its Plummers last stand. By playing on Thur the team has 10 days after turkey day to get ready for week 13.

Shanahan likes Cutler.......thinks hes bright and impressed by how fast hes absorbed the offense.

Amazing.....last year Plummer was talked about as possibly mvp. Now hes on the verge of taking a seat.

Personally.....I think Cutlers performance in camp, 'picking up the offense as quickly as he did'.....has messed with Plummer, maybe had him trying to do things he just can't do. Footsteps....

Right sides right.........its not if, its when.

I'm betting cutler is the man when Sea comes to Den in week 13

If the Broncos lose to KC tonight there is a 10% chance Cutler will take over the Qb duties next Sunday night.

The only talk in Denver about a QB change is coming from sportsradio callers. The only shot Denver has to making the playoffs and (gulp) a Super Bowl appearance is with Plummer. Shannahan is committed to Plummer for the season and unless the Broncs fall out of playoff contention Plummer will be calling the shots in the backfield. It was not Plummers fault they lost last week. They put up 27 points (1 def TD). THe offense has been OK but the Defense is losing players (Fergurson) and spending way too much time on the field. It is not the same D that stimied the Pats. They need a maximum effort tonight in KC to pick themselves back up.

Cutler may turn out to be a great QB but he is just a rookie with no NFL experience except in practice. No chance of him seeing action any time soonexcept in mop up time.

GO Broncos!!!!!
