The Broncos confirmed Brock Osweiler as their starting quarterback for Week 16 against the Bengals.

Peyton Manning (foot) will not be active. It's believed by many that Manning is healed from his torn plantar fascia, but the Broncos aren't going to humiliate the future Hall of Famer by dressing him and standing him on the sideline behind Osweiler.

Trevor Siemian will back up Osweiler on Monday night. Osweiler's leash is getting shorter with zero second-half points in three-straight games, but the Broncos seem poised to sink or swim with him at the controls.

in position to possible win 2 of those games if receivers would have concentrated on catching the ball and not worrying about a hard hit or a path for a TD.

gotta get the boy at least a smidgen of a running game in that offense..

that or put him in the shotgun and let him sling it..

Problem is being a lifelong Denver fan of course, IMO team is not in good hands with Kubiak, he did same thing in Houston and his offensive scheme is just not going to work in Denver with Manning there so I think Osweiler will benefit from this in the long run. I also believe Denver feels they can win one of these last 2 and still be in playoffs but it will make little to no difference if Kubiak does not let Manning be Manning. Regardless we will see Manning before this season ends and if Kubiak continues to not allow a downfield passing game we cant advance to far anyway. IMO this was a terrible coaching move for a team that was built for Manning type offense and this guy does not run that type of offense.
We catch a break this week with Cincy who also has injury bug so hopefully our kicker can win this one in a very low scoring contest.....Play the UNDER
