Brown -1.5 5 Units

A nice little afternoon game for us on the west coast. Brown is running the Princeton style offense and locks down on the defensive side of the ball. I don't want to put too much into how they shutdown Michigan State last night 45 points on 40% shooting because MSU isn't what they once were. Brown was basically doubled up on the boards yesterday and that is the key stat I see changing today. Brown had 8 TO to MSU 18.

Central Michigan let Humphrey beat them yesterday 25 points on 7-13 shooting. They turned it over 18 times against a YSU team that doesn't play with near as much discipline as Brown. CMU was 5-17 from beyond the arch and sent YSU to the line 38 times. You don't want to send an Ivy league team to the line that many times. The fouling is two fold. Not only will it give Brown a whole lot of FT attempts, but the Princeton offense is slow and methodical and CMU could be spending a lot of time on the defensive end in this one.

It won't be high scoring at all, but Brown will be in control. I say 57-44.

I also liked this play a lot but then noticed that Brown's last year leading scorer(Huffman) got injured against Michigan State so decided to just skip this game.
